Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use as a payment gateway on our e-commerce website. Payu offers tons of payment options such card payments, netbanking, UPI, EMI, buy or pay later. It has been a very helpful partner in our business. They process the payment very quickly and remit the payments within 1-2 days. It has been a great experience working with them.

  • Easy and good UI

Cons

  • Login options could be better for merchants
  • Sometimes payment page fails but that's normal

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I used PayU with WooCommerce on various sites to collect payments from my customers who want to buy my products and services from my website. PayU helped me to collect payment from my users in the easiest way and it also helped me to send the payments which was one of the best feature they have.

Pros

  • Collecting payment
  • Helps to collect payment in various currencies
  • The analytics are just amazing
  • It's easier to send payout to other as well using Payu

Cons

  • Their dashboard is not to amazing, I mean I have used other payment gateways and some of them have just amazing dashboard which feels great while using. PayU has also good but not great
  • They don't have much features
  • And they have Premium plans which I think they should try to remove and provide all those features to their merchants for free.
  • asking for additional approval while collecting payments through international cards, I didn't like it.

  • Sending payouts directly from the merchant dashboard
  • Their Webhook is also one of the important feature for me

Return on Investment

  • PayU has positive impact on my overall business. It helped me to collect payment in various currencies which was one of the main reason behind using it.
