We use this for our Macs to use a couple programs that are windows based. This allows our reporters to use just one computer since they need a Mac to use Final Cut Pro and Compressor, which are available only for Mac users.
Pros
Our vendor program works well with this.
Its easy to manage.
Cons
Sometimes its hard to disconnect users that are having problems.
Sometimes the font is small on the programs when using Parallels Remote Application Server (Parallels RAS).
Likelihood to Recommend
Its well suited for a program that only runs in Windows OS. That said, sometimes the specific program doesn't want to work well with Parallels Remote Application Server (Parallels RAS). However, that could be because of the program, not Parallels Remote Application Server (Parallels RAS).

We use Parallels Remote Application Server (Parallels RAS) for remote access to LOB applications for our customers. We found that it's simple enough to easily deploy/manage, but has enough options to provide for a quick/seamless remote experience for our customers. We manage systems with typically under 50 users each. We moved to Parallels Remote Application Server from Citrix and have never looked back.
Pros
ease of deployment
ease of management
simple client/install for users
responsive
Cons
We had one instance of the Parallels Remote Application Server server corrupting without any clear indication as to why, but a simple restore of the RAS server resolved the issue
Likelihood to Recommend
I think it's well suited to someone smaller environments (sub 100 users). May work well with larger deployments but we have only used it with smaller businesses and it has served us well. In my opinion, it's probably not well suited for a very small environment simply due to the cost.

Parallels Remote Application Server is an application and desktop
solution that allows users to access their applications / data from any device. The Cost is lower than some other offerings available. Enabled us to transition to home working during the pandemic allowing for both windows and mac users to connect with centralized application management, reducing the overhead to manage it
Pros
Central Management
Secure
Low Cost
Cons
Initial Setup is complex
Slow to support new vcenters

Likelihood to Recommend
Well suited for a Distributed workforce specifically as more company's transition into a hybrid way of working. Good for Organizations that deal with sensitive data and need to ensure compliance with security regulations with MFA being supported. Scales very well and does not require large vdi farms to support it

We use RAS for delivering our SAAS software in North America. Since our software is developed on Microsoft technologies, we always felt we were missing out on the opportunities for macOS or Linux users. Implementing RAS allowed us to increase our market share.
Pros
Support is Top Notch!
Easy to configure policies
Easy Sync with AD
Cons
UI, could be better. Specially for HTML clients.
Interaction with end-user file system is very combursome and does not allow easy access.
Likelihood to Recommend
Costing is one place, where it might not be very suitable for a startup. Also, there is no monthly model - which sometimes makes it difficult to sell to a dynamic market. It is very well suited for companies who are scaling up.

We use this application to deploy our software to our customers. We publish the application using an Active Directory where our users are created. So, Only the usergroup with the name [Customer] is allowed to start the application of [Customer] When one of the customers decide to arrange their management to another customer, we easily add the other usergroup [Customer2] to also open the application of [customer]. In this scenario, a user connected to usergroup [Customer2] is having 2 desktop shortcuts. The application of [Customer] and the application of [Customer2].
Pros
Active directory integration.
detailed logging of incoming connections, so you can see what user account is trying to connect from which IP address at what time.
Easy to setup, for example, the HTML5 environment was already created while configuring the basic steps of the farm.
Cons
Announcement of maintenance beforehand.
Remote control of the connected user computer, not the session.
Parallels Remote Application Server Client 19 now is asking for an email address? This is weird.
Likelihood to Recommend
As I said, it is easy to add published application, and the AD integration is really solid.

Like many other organizations we often work at various locations. Additionally we moved our server infrastructure to a housing service provider. VPN connectivity was not an option for us and to avoid several security issues we decided to only allow terminal services when working on our financial or document management systems.
Pros
easy to implement
seamless operation on local systems
fast screen output
security
multi os
Cons
better HTML5 only implementation
browser based management
Likelihood to Recommend
Parallels RAS fits well in every size of organization. The management is very well implemented and many security features like encrypted connections, client policies and mfa authentication. The server has a management api, where IT staff can automatate many task for RAS deployment, configuration and monitoring.
We use it as an alternative to RDP connections internally, and for clients who want to remote into their servers externally.
Pros
External Access
Full Desktop Capabilities
Default Policies
Cons
Printing not always working
Likelihood to Recommend
Appropriate: Small companies that require external access to a cloud-based server. Less Appropriate: Companies with a greater number of employees who require the speed of on-site servers and hardware equipment plugged in locally.

It could have a more seamless experience with remote apps
Likelihood to Recommend
Parallels Remote Application Server is best suited for organizations to cut expenses on applications by allowing multiple users to work on the same virtual desktop remotely. This also allows any organization to keep its application and data secure while leveraging the power of a scalable cloud environment. It is not a suitable remote working solution for developers and designers.
