Parallels Remote Application Server (Parallels RAS) has been something we have used for at least 5 years, but I think probably more than that. Parallels Remote Application Server (Parallels RAS) allows for us to publish Windows desktop applications as if they are web applications without many of our users knowing this.The simplicity of setup and the speed at which the system runs for the end user.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The use case is always the same: A simple way to set up application publishing for a company Problems that arise sometimes is good file integration ( like Awingu ), so users can up and download files in a much simpler way than now.

Pros

Html5 gateway.
Simplicity of installing/managing.
Compatibility

Cons

File transfers in the html5 interface.
Clipboard transfers in the html5 interface.

Likelihood to Recommend

Best suited for the management of all RDP applications where they are published through the full parallels client.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We implement Parallels Remote Application Server for customers in various industries. It is used to access remote PCs located in the office but also to access central virtual desktops hosted via MS RDP.

Pros

fast and lean structure
Very simple management
very good and fast manufacturer support
Simple license model - all features in one license

MS Teams optimization / Offloading

design that still includes all the features you need. Good training from the manufacturer, no complicated and expensive partnership, and certification ways. Good contact with all parts of the manufacturer up to the development.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I'm the controller of the company and all the tools are in a cloud system for me to access it from different places (work or home), Parallels is the tool used in the organization that allow me connect to those tools in a secure manner. I normally use parallels clients on my PC but there is also time that I'm able to get information from my phone.

Pros

Easy to use.

As of now and for the way I use it, the application has been excellent and worked very well without any scenarios with issues. Part of my duties is to export files from our software to my personal computer, which is great be cause my local drives are MAP in the system and I can bring those easily.
