I am a BDR and I use Orum to outreach to prospects. Orum is a great tool that allows me to dial prospects quickly and efficiently. I can also view call analytics, connect rates on each numbers and easily switch between numbers to maximize my outreach to potential clients of my company
Pros
Parallel dialing
Call rate %
Connect rate analytics
Cons
Glitchy dispositions
Occasional outages
Calling the same person twice

Really good tool to streamline automatic dialing. Can basically put it on auto-pilot for you until someone picks up which is very nice. Avoids a lot of clicks
Leaving notes that integrate into Salesloft, Apollo, etc.
Analytics.
Cons
Calls get cut off more regularly than I would expect. I am not sure if that is an issue on Orum's end, but I don't think it is a network issue either so I am not sure why.
In the search lists, it would be nice if we could add favorite cadences or separate by our own.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is well suited for cold calling multiple batches of people at a time, as well as one off tasks. I have not used it for other scenarios.
Calls to Connect rates continue to decline year over year, that means we need to make more calls to get the same connects / results. Diversification of call strategy is important to make up those deficits, but Orum allowed to make more calls in the same amount of time, improve connect rates without sacrificing quality with power dialer.
Pros
Improve connect rate
Maintain call quality
Operationally efficient
Cons
International / global support

We needed a solution to improve number of connects due to year over year decline in connects rates in the industry. Orum did that very well. It was also important to us to be able to do that without sacrificing call quality, and it did that very well with power dialer and its integration with SFDC, outreach and other tools. We tried parallel dialing, but it was not ideal for us as we see more hang ups / missed connects due to the slight delay, and also a decline in call quality due to the speed / pace. More training could potentially improve that, but it just wasn’t for us.
I like the buttons and the layout that allows me to track insights into my outbound efforts to capitalize on how good my lead list is and how long I'm spending on dialing it. It also allows me to see weekly efforts side by side to compare how I'm doing throughout the week.
Pros
It connects to your hubspot,CSV,Apollo.io with no problem
Dials with no problem
Button Usage is easy
Cons
Integrations with more tools
Single dialer
Transfer button

It's great to give to a green rep that doesn't understand how to use a dialer, and watch production go up! as you are working towards your goals. The thing that can get complicated is when you have bad numbers and incorrect information from the lead list. Overall great dialer to keep track of with 5+ reps. enterprise tool

They're about making money. They're not about helping you. And if you want to work with a company that wants you to be successful while making a profit, this is not the company for you. We recommend a different company. A lot of things were truly unclear on the contract. It did not benefit us at all; in fact, our Agency suffered some losses by partnering with Orum.
Pros
Call Tracking
Auto DIaler
Pipeline
Cons
Long Term Relationships
Caring about their clients.
Be honest and specific.

In general, our experience was not good at all, we had been here for two months. We were using Orum. They didn't get one qualified lead out of it, which may not be the actual product. It could just be us. In conclusion, we just fell like a number in a system, and that doesn't really go with our company's values,
We use Orum as a power dialer as Sales Development Representatives on a daily basis to make an average of 50-100 calls. The tool guides us through these calls and presents us with the information we need to make each call and the AI function takes notes as we engage with each person during the call. The notes are rather accurate and can be easily captured into the debrief of the call. The notes are easy to search through the history and the integration with Outreach, Salesforce, and even LinkedIn work quite well and round out the searches that I use while on the phone quite nicely.
Pros
Great AI notes are captured during the call
presents useful information in preparation for each call
great historical information available after the fact
useful integration to other platforms such as Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn
Cons
always improving the group calling functions which is helpful
the AI notes can always be improved, but I think the first release was a great start

I would recommend Orum as a tool for others in Sales and other customer-facing positions requiring a high volume of calls. The tool provides a lot of configurability to what and how you want information displayed but there is room for improvement with this and I forgot to mention that on a previous page.
Orum is current integrated with our primary sales/prospecting tools, SFDC, and outreach. With Orum in place, we were able to maximize an SDR/ISR productivity by three or four times. On overage, our ISR team makes about 70-100 calls a day resulting in between four and six conversations. Starting with Orum on day one with their proof of concept, our ISR was able to get ~15 people on the phone while securing a meeting. At the peak of the trial, the SDR leveraging the trial hit over 300 dials, had 30 conversations, and secured a meeting from a list of less than warm leads.
Pros
Integrates with popular sales tools (SFDC, Outreach)
Ease of set up
Maximizes inside sales productivity
Cons
User interface can be improved, seems a bit dated
Likelihood to Recommend
Orum is great for organizations that want to maximize their productivity with their current team. It allows sales to tackle warm and cold leads in a streamlined process.
My SDR Team uses it for inbound and outbound efforts. Our product's market is highly commoditized; there's not much opportunity for an evangelical, "Challenger" sales motion. On the contrary, we've seen more success with putting out larger nets and trying to raise awareness so that we get invited to the party when they go to RFP once every 5 years. Before Orum, we had zero success. Now we have met and gotten the ear of millions of dollars worth of future pipeline, and about a million of current pipeline. To say it's wildly successful is an understatement.
Pros
Our Customer Success Manager, Matt, is my best CSM across all of my sales tech stack.
It does exactly what it's supposed to. We spend more time talking than we do dialing. Unreal.
Nice Salesloft/Outreach/Salesforce integrations make it easy to use.
Cons
Nothing glaring
I highly recommend dialing via cell (an easy option), versus dialing through browser, for best reception and call quality. But they recommend this. Not a "weakness."

If you don't have direct phone numbers, Orum is less helpful. Other than that, it's a must-buy. If you sell to SMB and have a ton of targets, a must-buy. If you sell to enterprise and have 10-30 ABM accounts you're going after, but you don't know who your desired/perfect key player is at those accounts, you must buy it and call 100 people at each account. If you want to mask your dials (like, change the phone number so that you can dial multiple times a day without them seeing it on called ID), it's a must-buy.
