I am using NGINX Plus as a livestreaming distribution model with publisher, worker and load balancer nodes.

Cons
- The Instance Manager setup is not that simple and would love to have it simplified (all required modules in that one single rpm file)
- that adaptive bitrate is automatically configured
- that easier telemetry and analytics can be done
Likelihood to Recommend
I think that NGINX Plus could be used in place of a hardware load balancer and it would be light weight and easier to configure than a hardware based load balancer but in terms of usability a GUI for said load balancer would definitely help in setting up
