Form implementation and integration is easy
Simple domain management
Excellent support

Likelihood to Recommend
We are able to run our live instance and several preview instances at the same time due to how well Netlify serves our needs. Furthermore, with the in-built form processing, creating and sharing new form data is a breeze. Overall, our experience with Netlify has been great and I would recommend any organization looking for a deployment solution to use their platform.

I use Netlify to host several of my personal websites. In my professional work, I have also used it for things like sharing design work and quickly hosting a prototype of ongoing projects. It's a great project for this type of thing because it allows you to quickly drag a folder of static files into the browser to deploy for sharing.
Pros
Hosting
Sharing static files.
Deployment
Cons
Hosting dynamic sites.
Content authoring for average users.
Likelihood to Recommend
Netlify is a static website host, so it obviously wouldn't work for hosting dynamic websites built in PHP, such as WordPress or Drupal. It works very well with static sites with a git codebase on something like GitHub. It has automatic deployments, which include preview websites. It works very well with this workflow. There are solutions for allowing content authoring on static websites on Netlify, but I would probably reach for something like WordPress or Drupal for that.

To deploy and host static websites, we used Netlify Platform. Netlify is a simple platform that allows you to quickly deploy applications to its servers. It integrates seamlessly with GitHub for CI/CD process, where we kept our code repositories. One of the best things about Netlify is that it automatically performs a preview deployment for any commit in feature branches, allowing you to review the changes before you go to production.
Pros
Preview deployment
DNS management
CI/CD integration
Cons
The total build minutes in free tier could be increased
Likelihood to Recommend
Netlify is best suited for the following scenarios: hosting of static-websites, CI/CD for static-websites, custom domain with SSL for the deployed website, out of the box CDN support which reduces website load time
In order to make user acceptance testing, general QA testing, and developer-based testing easier to use, we are currently automating our build and deployment processes. the business issues I resolved were having environment variables for some client-side and server-side rendering for Javascript libraries, as well as readily maintaining SSL certificates.
Pros
CI/CD Actions are pretty good, makes it really easy to deploy changes
netlify functions is a great feature it let us ran server side stuff or scripts
redirects module is very useful and easy to use
Cons
they don't offer SSR for Vue as per now
you need to buy a paid plan to be able to add someone as collaborator
Tech support isn't very helpful. I feel like I am on my own
Likelihood to Recommend
Everything you need for the majority of projects is available, including a fairly generous free plan, custom domains, an intuitive administration interface, and cloud functions. The redirects module is strong but very easy to use. Benefits include quick cloud hosting with API functionality and easy GitHub deployment integration that is really faster
