Nerdio's the Best!

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We're an MSP and have deployed Nerdio to a couple of CPA firm clients. By having a scalable environment, the firms are able to bring on temporary CPAs, at will, for as long or short a period as necessary seamlessly. Also, accounting applications require frequent, labor heavy, updates that working off of a single image streamlines.

Pros

  • AutoScale
  • Image Management
  • Azure Front End GUI

Cons

  • Documentation
  • Price estimates
  • Call in support

Likelihood to Recommend

Nerdio's well positioned in dynamic user count environments, for sure. Or where user's are brought on temporarily and new IT hardware purchase isn't cost effective. If you'd in an environment where frequent application updates are needed, Nerdio handles this with an image model.
Less appropriate in predictable, basic computing environments.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our entire organization uses Nerdio. It allows us to work whenever and wherever we want. It allows for more up time and increases productivity among our staff and out attorneys as well.

Pros

  • Tech support. Super friendly and fun to talk to guys. They always get it done.
  • Excellent CIOs who care about you and your business
  • Ability to solve problems at any hour of the day
  • Product is easy and functional almost 100% of the time.

Cons

  • Default printers! If you work form home and it will switch up your printers. Even if you don't work from home it will switch it sometimes.
  • Disk space seems a little expensive too :(

Likelihood to Recommend

I think any business could benefit from Nerdio. Our culture has created the work all day every day thing as a norm, and this makes it easier. (which is a pro and a con) But if I have to be constantly connected, I want it to work! I don't think it would necessarily be needed in a business of 5 or less though.
