Great Reg Service Easy to Use - Great Customer Service A

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Namecheap as our domain registrar, we have used several in the past but Namecheap is a very simple and easy tool to use when handling domains. Domains are cheap to buy and they don't charge massive fees for other domain services. They also have great customer service and solve all problems without any fuss.

Pros

  • Pricing - Best pricing for domains out there
  • Easy to renew domains - simple and easy
  • Cheap renewal costs - No over-pricing
  • Great support and customer service
  • Easy to use tool and set-up - no hassel
  • Domain transfers - easy to send between registrars

Cons

  • Hosting isn't brilliant, as there are other options available which do a better job from a security stand point.
  • Would be great if the discounts were bigger for bulk purchases for longer renewals
  • The layout/dashboard could be simpler to move around - not easy to find somethings

Return on Investment

  • It saves us money on domain purchases and for other related services
  • Time - its a lot easier and simpler to do things and saves us time
  • Ease of use - very easy to buy and get up and running

Namecheap is the best place to register a domain period.com

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Namecheap is our domain registrar of choice. We switched from several different domain registrars over to just Namecheap. We have dealt with many previous registrars that have complex and confusing UIs on their control panels and that charge exorbitant fees for simple things. Namecheap doesn’t do any of that. Namecheap provides excellent customer service and an incredibly simple-to-use service.

Pros

  • Domain registrar
  • Customer service
  • DNS setup and propagation
  • Transferring domain registrations
  • Email forwarding

Cons

  • There is one search bar that is a little confusing. It’s not clear if it’s supposed to be for finding a new domain or searching for your existing domain registrations.
  • Emails about the DKIM and SPF records were confusing the first time I got them. The FAQs could be improved.
  • I’m digging deep for this, but I think it would be nice if the UI brought the user to the list of domains currently owned since that is the page I’m usually looking for when I log in.

Most Important Features

  • Fair, affordable pricing
  • Clean, understandable UI
  • No unrelated offers and spam
  • No unexpected surprises and hidden fees
  • Easy to use interface
  • Excellent FAQs and documentation

Return on Investment

  • Namecheap has saved us hundreds of dollars a year on services that we were required to pay extra for by NetworkSolutions that Namecheap provides for free.
  • Namecheap has made managing our domains simpler, saving us dozens of labor hours a year.
  • Namecheap has encouraged us to experiment with new domain names to see which ones work best. We couldn’t do this with our previous registrars because it was too hard to change from one domain to another.

If you need to register domains, go with NameCheap!

Pros

  • Pricing is industry best.
  • They make it easy and quick to renew domains.
  • They have great privacy WhoIs features for free.

Cons

  • I wonder if it's feasible to have bulk discounts or a loyalty program?
  • They may have this already, but features to buy and sell premium domains, or browse ones for sale, would be great.
  • We don't use their hosting because there are higher quality options, but it'd be great if they did better hosting so we could keep it all under one roof.

Return on Investment

  • Keeping all our domains all in one account is easy to manage.
  • Picking and choosing which services to renew makes it effortless to manage and saves time and potential future headaches.
  • Having free WhoIs privacy protection saves us from endless spam calls and emails, and also helps keep domain purchases private.

Namecheap is hands down the best

Pros

  • Namecheap's interface is clean, modern, and easy to navigate.
  • Most other company gouge their customers on domain renewal costs, Namecheap does NOT.
  • Namecheap's support service has always been fast, friendly, and 100% helpful.

Cons

  • There are few international domains that cannot be purchased directly through Namecheap. To work around this, I purchased the domains at another registrar and immediately transferred them to Namecheap.

Return on Investment

  • Namecheap's very affordable renewal rates makes a big difference with multiple domains.
  • The user-friendliness of the dashboard saves time.
