Use Cases and Deployment Scope
I use mRemote to access all of my network switches, servers and other devices. It is a one-stop shop to remotely access pretty much anything that has a management interface. This product lends itself really well to being flexible and having multiple tabs open at one time. I find this software keeps everything in one interface, so I don't forget about all of the devices I'm managing.

This is used to maintain a list of RDP connections. Each connection can have custom parameters and you can even save credentials for quicker login the next time. It even has a immediate reconnection incase of disconnect and tries upto 5 times. The tabbed interface allows to easily switch between multiple connections.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope
Use it as an RDP/Telnet/SSH client for internal IT staff. IT staff have to remote into a variety of systems, and mRemoteNG is a nice, clean and organized way for us to get the job done.

mRemoteNG - Does exactly what I need it to do.
Pros
- Tabbed Views. Each server remote desktop is viewed in its own separate tab, similar to a web browser. This makes it much quicker and easier to switch between them than using separate windows.
- Storing credentials. You can configure it with log on credentials for each system, saving time on accessing as you don't need to enter a password each time.
- Multiple connection types. I use the traditional RDP the most, but mRemoteNG allows many different connection types, similar to Putty.
Cons
- The user interface for configuration is a little basic, and not obvious for a new user to set up connections. It could be a bit clearer how to do that.
- It does not seem to automatically update itself to new versions - though older ones work fine, you can miss out on some new functions if you don't check for updates manually.
Return on Investment
- Unquantifiable, really. It has definitely saved me time, and while each day it might not be much, over the course of a year I'm sure it has made an impact to my productivity level overall.
