Good software for basic functions!
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use Mindbody for scheduling appointments and for billing. It's nice to have it all in one place. We used to use two different systems and so it was hard to know if someone was current or was delinquent or had expired. We have tried to do some marketing through Mindbody as well.
Pros
- It ties the billing and scheduling together really nicely.
- It's relatively easy to understand/user friendly.
- Dashboard reports/access to data points is nice.
Cons
- Billing can be kind of hard to understand and the way it pulls payments can be weird.
- Doing inventory in Mindbody can be hard. The reporting isn't great.
- The Marketing Suite isn't great. The email lists are not accurate and the wording to create the lists is very confusing.
- If you have multiple time zones, it can be frustrating that they are put into different data shares and not a single sign-on.
Return on Investment
- It has increased our efforts to convert people into sales. Before, it was hard to manage who was a current client who had purchased something and who was coming in for free. It helps us keep track of that and selling where we need to.
- The Marketing Suite not working has made it so we have had to look into other alternatives making that part useless since we have to pay for other add-ons/programs to do marketing.
