I have been using different email servers including those from Google, Rediffmail, and Microsoft. I found Microsoft Exchange to be the most intuitive and feature-rich platform. Its products ranging from email to calendar and other avenues make it a great all-in-one suite. It's secure with 2FA and recovery codes, doesn't lag, and rarely has downtime.
Pros
Intuitive
Feature-rich
Multiple products under one platform
Cons
Pricing can be slightly lowered

Since Microsoft Exchange server is an all-in-one suite of applications and products from Microsoft, it lets users collaborate seamlessly. Microsoft has a wide variety of products and the Exchange server is a great way to bring them all under one roof for enterprises. If the organization uses Microsoft applications throughout then using the Exchange server is of great benefit.
We use Microsoft Exchange for our email and calendar functionality. Over the years we've evolved from hosting our own Exchange servers to using third party vendors. We use it primarily so that our email and calendars can be centralized and accessed from any of our devices.
Pros
Email
Calendar
Archiving older emails
Cons
Configuring mail apps on phones could be less hands on

It has worked well for our business. We are able to handle both our internal email communications and our support volume with Exchange.
Microsoft Exchange is one of the mail servers we used in our company which has a variety of tools to manage mailings and schedule meetings. This server can be used in an offline network as in our case and can support many users in terms of software manner. We can both use the mail server via application or web interface.
Pros
Integrate with microsoft products.
Robust, reliable mail service.
Can create tasks and schedule meetings over the interface.
Cons
Microsoft Exchange does not have a GUI application officially for Linux users.
Application does not respond if the server connection is down.
Rarely user application halts unexpectedly.

This application has a variety of solutions for user experiences, you can reach your mails over the official Microsoft exchange application, web interface, or even by an exchange plugin for another general-purpose mail client if you have a Linux os. This feature makes the Microsoft exchange server distinguishable as opposed to opponents. However, some third-party exchange server plugins are really buggy and do not reflect the full capability of the application. Hence it would be better for Microsoft to support other operating systems.
We have used Microsoft Exchange (2016) in our company for more than 10 years. It's still on-premise. The problems we had with Exchange are rather small beauty flaws. With the DAG, Exchange is working fine and has e cluster functionality. It could be nice when you can do more with the GUI, but with Powershell skills there are no limits.
Pros
Easy user management.
Unlimited possibilities with Exchange Shell.
Failover possibility.
Cons
You can't use Exchange without Active Directory.
Message tracking is not that easy.
Installing updates can cause some problems.

Of course it's one of the best E-Mail Software you can use and it's fully integrated in the Office suit. Create Shared Mailboxes and Distribution Groups is done in a few clicks or in one row in the Exchange Shell. Some settings can only be done in the Exchange Shell, so you need a little bit know how in Powershell.
