Use Cases and Deployment Scope

My organization used KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training internally for our staff and contractors. We also are a reseller of KnowBe4's Security Awareness Training and use this as a tool to help train and test our client's staff. We have tried other platforms but unfortunately my firm works with a lot of INGO's and they require multiple languages.

KnowBe4 is very useful for organizations to help automate the cyber awareness journey. You can select from pre-built templates for phishing simulations. It does not require a lot of technical skill to run a cyber awareness program via KnowBe4. It also is useful to have multiple tenants and setup clients and report their metrics.

We were having alot of phishing emails that acted as our owner/CEO. This training helped our employees with identifying emails that our phishing. We also do bi monthly training for all employees.

We use KnowBe4 Security Awareness to make phishing attack simulations and to deploy training to all our users that have internet access. We use the provided reports to document the achieved improvements on the current status. We also intend to use the reports to cover the relevant need for documentation on our upcoming ISO 27001 certification.

The provided templates for phishing simulations are mainly available in English. There are also some templates available in our native language, but their number is small. We have seen other platforms offer way more phishing simulation templates in our language.
Although there is a really huge number of training videos available, some of them are outdated and no longer have much to offer. Some cleaning up could help in this direction.
Although there a some games / puzzle like trainings available, we have seen other platforms offer more and better ones (on the other platforms had they had almost no videos at all...). It would help significantly to also invest in enriching the provided puzzles / games.
We have seen other platforms offer games, where, for example, employees of the company can compete against each other while working together in groups to achieve a common goal (e.g., eliminate a fictional security threat that has "hit" the company. Plan the steps needed to be taken, take the steps one after another and have a chance to see the impact each action has. At the end the team that has suffered the least cost to end the threat is the one that wins. Just an example. The point is to make this challenging, using gamification and to make the employees part of the prevention force of the company against cybersecurity threats.

KnowBe4 Security Awareness Trainings are suited for every company. We have tested really a lot of those platforms out there and we can say that there are other platforms that are better at the one or the other feature, but as it is always in life nothing is perfect. However, having tested all those platforms, we can with great certainty say the KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training platform is overall the best one there is out there at this time!

We are a healthcare company, so being targeted by phishing emails and other malicious attacks is very common. With KnowBe4, we can train our users to look out for these emails better. We have also given them the Phish ER button in Outlook to report anything that could happen to get through.

This software has helped us improve our internal security posture with malicious emails and provides me with monthly training to keep our users sharp. The phishing tests are automated, and we do nothing each month to have them sent out. This software helps us identify who is at risk as a user and works with them to train them on identifying these better. You are only as strong as your weakest employee, as they say.

We originally implemented KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training to replace an existing training and awareness service which was lacking in content and did not include phish testing. KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training allowed us to develop well matured program with automated user onboarding, automated testing, and training as well as a large number of reporting features to monitor success of the program. KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is continuously adding new features to the product to provide greater value to organizations.

There is some inconsistencies between the video player across content. It seems depending on who the content was created by dictates the player. Not a big issue but a UX redesign to maintain consistency would solve this.

Some of the compulsory videos are skippable, which can prevent learning. This is probably one of the very few issues with the platform. It's very good for keeping vigilance high through its simulated phishing emails. By sending out simulations, everyone is vigilant for emails that they are not expecting. You do not know if the email you have received is a simulation or genuine, so everyone treats it as real.
