We use Kameleoon to test and grow our experimentation program, providing data-informed decisions for projects and campaigns. Its targeting and segmentation capabilities are essential for experiments on our website. The platform delivers easy to read yet insightful analytics, enabling us to make informed decisions efficiently and optimize performance across our initiatives.
Kameleoon is easy to use, to run tests and report on results across our business.
Pros
Audience segmentation and targeting
Flexible and comprehensive analytics
Ease of use
Cons
Some graphic editor tools don't always work for us. E.g. generating selectors, locked out elements/customisations
Likelihood to Recommend
Great for growing your experimentation programme, have comprehensive targeting needs, need fast deployment and quick data. Could be challenging to use without some technical expertise and would require developer assistance. More opportunity to leverage the platform’s full capabilities otherwise and run more complex experiments.
We used Kameleoon Web Experimentation for A/B testing on company websites.
Pros
Comprehensive Privacy Consent Management
Cons
Poor UI/UX
Cumbersome experiment targeting
Poor reliability
Limited Visual Editor
Bugs in Code Editor

Our organization used Kameleoon Web Experimentation platform for a few months, but encountered many issues, including a case when platform changes unintentionally deployed all our experiments across every page. As a result, we discontinued its use due to concerns about platform reliability, especially for large-scale experimentation. Considering the challenges faced during our usage period we cannot endorse the platform.

We have been looking at Kameleoon as a potential addition for the Vue Storefront ecosystem. We wanted to create an integration for it, be able to connect it to our e-commerce frontend and offer it to our customers. My contact with the Kameleoon team has been at the very beginning of the path, they've helped me to find out more about their product and assisted afterwards.
Pros
Scheduling meetings very fast
Making you feel taken care of
Communicating things clearly
Kind attitude towards partners & customers
Cons
I'd like to see them to have more customers. Really.

We were working with Kameleoon for a short while. After we have expressed an interest in integrating with their product, they have scheduled a meeting to tell us more about it. They were definitely quicker and more helpful than their competitors we contacted at that time. They've also offered their help afterwards and have been one of the most supportive teams I've ever worked with - answering all of our questions, suggesting additional meetings and making us feel taken care of.In the end, our cooperation didn't last long (because objectives in our company have changed). Despite that, I wanted to leave this review so that everyone knows Kameleoon has an outstanding support and working with them is a pleasure. The experience has been so good that I literally feel bad about not having worked with these guys for longer and I hope it will happen in the future.
We’re a best-in-class amateur esports league for high schools, providing services to organize teams, schedule matches, and track stats for esports. We run server-side and client-side tests and use both the code editor and the graphic editor. We usually prefer running quick front-end tests using the graphic editor because they don’t require help from our developers. We’ve been using Kameleoon to optimize our lead gen efforts and, specifically, aiming to improve our conversion flows for getting players enrolled into leagues each season. We’re currently testing to see what referral incentives are generating the most registrations. The graphic editor makes it very easy to swap out the images for incentive variations. And Kameleoon’s integrations with Segment and Heap make server and client-side testing easier and more impactful.
Pros
Helpful and responsive support team. Whenever I run into an issue, I always get the support I need. Sometimes support even sends me the code I need to fix my experiment.
With Kameleoon Hybrid, we can build server-side tests and, without any extra coding from our developers, continue using our client-side tools, like Heap and Segment.
Kameleoon’s light script makes sure that our page performance and load times are not slowed down at all. Since we’re providing an online service, page performance and page load times are crucial for us.
Non-developers can easily work with the platform.
Cons
Sometimes I run into bugs in the interface; however, I always receive quick help from the Kameleoon team.

We recommend this tool for teams looking to save on development cost. If you have a dedicated development team to conduct product experiments, then you may not need Kameleoon.
