What is Ingram Micro?

Ingram Micro is a global technology consultancy providing a full spectrum of global technology and supply chain services.

If it's all about the product, Ingram produces the goods.

Pros

  • Product Information
  • Near Real Time Stock Management
  • Product Configurators

Cons

  • Better Filtering in Product Search

Shipwire has great functionality if 1) you want to automate web fulfillment 2) dropship 3) use multiple warehouses!

Pros

  • Seamless integration with Shopify / 3rd party drop-ship fulfillment.
  • Full network of 3rd warehouses to expand distribution.
  • Quick order fulfillment & excellent warehouse customer service.

Cons

  • Their system could have better analytics, sometimes I feel like I have to really data dive to get what I need.
  • Inventory analytics could also be an improvement, hard to determine the transaction history of SKUs.

Reliable supply chain and great technical support!

Pros

  • Customer Support
  • Technical Advice
  • Fast accurate shipping and logistics

Cons

  • The way we interact with Ingram Micro hasn't shed light on any particular areas with need for improvement.

You won't be disappointed!

Pros

  • Customer Service
  • Understanding Time Sensitive

Cons

  • I don't like to say this and very rarely do I, but I don't have anything at this time.

Ingram Micro only provides frustration

Pros

  • Products were as-advertised.
  • Pricing on HPE servers was competitive.
  • Shipping process was reliable.

Cons

  • Very hard to find the products you're looking for on the site if you don't already know exactly what you're trying to find. Lots of similar/identical products with uninformative naming conventions.
  • Poor faceted navigation.
  • Entire site is painfully slow.
  • The policy of automatically closing inactive accounts after 12 months, with no ability to re-open it upon customer request, is crazy.
  • Pricing on most commonplace IT products (outside of things like HPE servers) is not competitive at all, it's almost always cheaper to just buy on Amazon, and even when Ingram is cheaper, the difference is so negligible it's pointless to bother.
