Business Problems Solved
Infor Learning Management has proven to be a valuable tool for companies looking to efficiently manage their training requirements. Customers have been able to create various types of content, including user manuals, how-to guides, and frequently asked questions, using the software. This has greatly facilitated the learning process for key users, allowing them to quickly grasp system concepts. Additionally, organizations have successfully used Infor Learning Management to deliver and manage content, effectively boosting employee development and training.
Another significant use case of Infor Learning Management is the creation of interactive learning training for key users. By utilizing this feature, companies have implemented engaging and dynamic training programs that enhance the learning experience. Moreover, the software has played a crucial role in helping businesses remain compliant with industry demands and regulations, particularly in areas like food safety. The availability of comprehensive data within Infor Learning Management has enabled users to easily identify knowledge gaps and determine areas where additional training is needed. This invaluable information can also be shared with senior leadership, providing insights into who has completed training, when it was completed, and overall performance scores.
The adoption of Infor Learning Management has also led to enterprise-wide implementations, replacing outdated training software that was no longer meeting the needs of organizations. Companies have recognized the advantages of migrating to a cloud-based system and switching to an integrated learning management solution like Infor's offering. This transition has streamlined the process of delivering and tracking employee learning and training across the entire organization. Overall, Infor Learning Management addresses critical challenges faced by businesses by providing an efficient platform to manage training requirements, improve employee development, ensure compliance, and track progress accurately.

Likelihood to Recommend
Suitable for multi-departmental or corporate groups. The ability to collaborate and track the progress is a useful feature. This is not the best option for a company that wants to develop high-quality instructional content or a user guide that customers can swiftly read and learn on their own. Big Data and Data Analysis are less supported on this cloud platform.
I used this as the learning module integrated with other Infor products my organization used. We used this as a learning management system to deliver and track employee learning and training. We migrated to a cloud-based system and switched to an integrated learning management system.
Pros
Cloud-based
Reasonable reporting
Ability to create content
Cons
Better dashboard design
More features for building content
Likelihood to Recommend
Suitable for enterprise or multi-department organizations. The aspects to allow collaboration and tracking of learning development path is a good feature. The software provides decent reporting for key performance metrics to track staff learning paths and educational development.

Infor Learning Management is being used by one of our clients across the organization to create content such as user manual, how-to, frequently asked questions, and many such contents which would help the key users of the system to quickly understand the topics and get on working with the system. Also, some interactive learning training was created using ILM which was used by the key users.
Pros
It enables enhanced collaboration. Users can actively contribute knowledge through the various platforms using ILM.
Content Creation is quite simplified and can be used to create quality content. Learners can quickly go through this quality content provided by the author and can enrich themselves.
Cons
It currently doesn't support offline content reading on Mobile. This support would be really helpful to read while offline.
If one liked to purchase some training material or content built-in shopping cart is missing.
Likelihood to Recommend
It had good ROI in terms of the regulator compliance tracking for all the employees. This was quite cost-effective as compared to the earlier process. This is less suited for an organization that wants to create good learning content or a user guide where the users can quickly go through and do self-learning. It is also suited for an organization that needs to have its employees be compliant with ISO Standards so they need to carry out regulatory certification examination.
Infor Learning Management has helped us keep track of critical trainings that we need to ensure have been completed. We are able to remain compliant with industry demands and food safety regulations with what Infor provides us. Further more, they have made the data accessible so we can quickly discover knowledge gaps and where more trainings are needed. As in, before we had only access to if a user had taken a training or not and this was prone to error. Now we can see who has taken the training, when, whether or not they completed it, and their overall scores. Providing this data to senior leadership is invaluable.
Pros
Captures training completion rates
Provides customizable reportable data outputs
Tracks progress
Sends reminders when trainings need to be completed
Easy scheduling of trainings for departments and or employees
Cons
Allowing for multiple administrators and levels of access for reporting. We've had a harder time adjusting permissions between HR and other departments without giving too much access.
Allowing for easier access to data retrieval via API. We are an on prem shop and create our on BI decks so easier access to the data stored in the cloud would be appreciated.
Likelihood to Recommend
We have enjoyed how easy it is to get training to employees, both onsite and off, as it is a cloud based solution. We previously had a myriad of applications to try and deliver, track, and report on trainings. Infor Learning Management allows for a quick look at where we are at within our business as well as an in depth dive of each users certification process. Our only request is the cloud platform be more accessible for data mining. With our current BI offerings we bring most of the data on premises and this involves a few hoops currently.

Infor Learning Management was being implemented enterprise wide to replace an obsolete version of Lawson training software. The idea was the system would be more than just a catalog of courses. Our organization already owned other Infor modules.
Pros
Has lots of capabilities to track learning plans. One can set up a learning plan and track progress towards it.
Coursework can vary by plan so it can cover technical work like skilled trades as well as business training courses.
Single sign on was advertised so a user only needed to log into Infor once.
Cons
Single Sign on never worked.
Our company was on the bleeding edge and tried to use Infor Learning Management shortly after Infor purchased the company. The software was not yet integrated into the Infor platform.
Project managers weren't sure of the answers to some implementation questions.
Likelihood to Recommend
If the application is integrated into the Infor suite, it may be a good fit. On paper, the application met most of our needs. The implementation was where the issues arose.

Certpoint is our LMS for one of worldwide business unit we have. Initially our eLearning was focused on internal techinical training for Industrial Automation products in one region of the globe. But lately, it became a worldwide solution available in several languages for both internal (employees + distributors) and external users (customers).
Pros
Offers Content Creation software plus Learning Management System in one package
Good support team
Customizable portals
Cons
There are several parts of the system that you can customize according to your needs. However when you need a new feature request, the approval/support process is quite complex
Support for more global languages that customers request
World wide support/sales structure. Their response time is usually very fast (less than 24 hours) but sometimes is good to have someone in the same timezone to talk (like in Asia for example)

Important questions during the selection process:
Support for Global Languages?
Availability of Content Tool?
SCORM compliance?
World wide technical and sales support?
Does it provide the report needs that your management team request?
I believe the main points to pay attention when selecting a LMS are:
1) how will be the user experience on taking the classes
2) how will be the management experience on working everyday with the system
