Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I was looking for a simple and scalable monitoring solution, other options were Cisco Prime and PRTG. Indeni is not a substitution to any of both mentioned, current release has limited Cisco support, so I applied to try next release available in April 2018. My use case is not completed yet.

Pros

  • Installation and initial setup.
  • Updates.
  • Communications and support from developers.
  • Looks pretty solid, few bugs.

Cons

  • Hardware support.
  • Slack integration (not sure if really needed, just because many others have this).
  • Universal connector for Linux boxes.

Likelihood to Recommend

This applies to current releases, I guess the next one will be much more comprehensive.
