We began using GroundTruth as a way of targeting users of competing businesses for a new venture we were beginning. It's very niche, with a hard-to-target audience for other forms of advertising, so a campaign utilizing a geofence of competitor locations was perfect for what we want to achieve. We then started using it as a way to announce our presence at trade shows, targeting people within a very small radius at the location of the show or convention and letting them know where we were presenting.

Pros

  • Excellent CPM
  • Optimizes delivery when given multiple creatives
  • Good customer service

Cons

  • The ads manager can be a bit confusing at times
  • Hard to find invoices outside of email, would love to have an account access panel
  • E-mail reminders of when campaigns are scheduled to end.

We use GroundTruth to run our display campaigns for our clients. GroundTruth allows us to manage a huge portfolio of clients on one platform. Instead is trying to run everything manually on the platform. GroundTruth allows us to have everything in that one platform which is convenient when you are dealing with a lot of clients

  • Adding a save option sometimes when you don’t hit next the work you are using is lost.

GroundTruth is a great product and platform for digital advertising. There are a variety of uses for this exchange, and it helps us stay above the curve in digital products. GroundTruth enables us to launch full campaigns with detailed targeting within 20 minutes. As I continue to explore and use the program I am confident that the time it takes to launch campaigns will decrease as well.

  • There is a learning curve to GroundTruth. The UI/UX can be improved further
  • Bounce rates are high due to mobile only campaigns
  • Updating creatives can be time consuming sometimes. Some customisable default templates should be provided for easier use.
