I use Google Calendar every day. It helps me keep my schedule clean, and keeps me on task. I am constantly using it to create meetings both internal and external, and can easily attach meeting links for virtual meetings. It's literally the first thing I look at when I get to work, and the last thing I look at when I leave.
Pros
Makes it easy to schedule meetings and block off time
I can see everyone in my org's calendar's as well which makes it convenient when scheduling calls with multiple people so I can see when they have overlapping availabilities.
Integration with Zoom and Microsoft Teams for video calls that can be added from the calendar invite itself
Cons
Sometimes the meeting invites don't show the entire meeting name in the email, and you can't hover over it or anything to see what the full title is.

It's great for scheduling your own time for your own day and tasks. It's also great for scheduling meetings with other people internally and externally. We also have it connected to our internal office meeting room scheduler, which makes it great for room assignment, but sometimes we have some issues with it kicking you out of the room and giving it to somebody else. Probably our issue to resolve, but it's something that happens.
Google Calendar is a crucial part of my workflow. As a manager, I use Google Calendar to navigate & plan my days & align with my direct reports, peers, & my boss on meetings. It enables success in a remote work environment by allowing users to block focus hours and set their working hours. I use it to also keep track of my direct reports when they are out of the office or when other company events are going on. We can save time by understanding when other people are in meetings or in focus hours so we can either reach out with questions a different time, or direct our questions to someone else. We also integrate Google Calendar with scheduling software to easily set up virtual meetings with customers.
Pros
Enables the creation of designated Focus Hours
Enables users to set their "working hours" and others can see if they are setting up a meetings a moon symbol next to their name to show it is outside of that invitees working hours
Allows you to easily create scheduled tasks directly on your Google Calendar
Cons
Suggesting meetings times.
Allowing you to accept or decline a meeting invitation without notifying the organizer.
Better functionality & colors for the meeting categories/tags function

Google Calendar is well suited for scheduling 1:1 and smaller group meetings and recurring meetings. It's also well suited to connect with scheduling software. However, there is still a lot of opportunity for improvement when you want to make a very well-organized calendar (for example, limitations with the meeting tagging & categories). It's also not as well suited for helping with scheduling for bigger groups.
We use Google Calendar to keep track of reminders, when to send invoices, upcoming meetings (to cover), upcoming meetings (to attend). It's a useful tool that is easily integrated into a variety of different services, especially if you already use Google. For the cost and flexibility, it's definitely been worth it so far.
Pros
Scheduling
Integration
Flexibility
Cons
Awkward place to add notes
Sometimes assumes AM vs PM but is usually right

For small businesses or personal use, it works out well. The whole idea of a free platform on a free service is very alluring, especially if you don't have high end or high tech services for such a program already. Calendar would work in most business, school, and personal situations to keep track of where you're headed.
I and some users in our organisation are using Google Calendar on my android phone. I like that it is easy to set up. I liked that the calendar showed all the special events the first time I open it. I particularly like the scheduling feature of the application which has great options like adding video conferencing among other things.
Pros
Easy to use.
Better and cleaner look than other calendar apps.
Does not have useless features and packs all the needed features in a neat and clean manner.
Cons
The notification sound option can be added in the app itself instead of going through android settings. And also different sounds for different events, tasks etc. feature can be added.
A windows dektop app can be introduced even though it can be integrated with Outlook, windows 10 Calendar app.

Google Calendar is a very reliable calendar application for people for personal use and use in business environment. It has clean look, is easy to use and I found it to be better than Outlook calendar with easier to understand interface and some more features. I also like the option to view the and make changes in the calendar online.
