Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am the controller for a non-profit who uses GoCo. I love how quickly we can onboard and offboard employees and delegate the workflows related to those processes within GoCo. New employees fill out everything in one spot, and then I go there when updating our payroll - I love having one spot for all the information and forms.

I've recommended GoCo to several accounting colleagues who are looking for HR management solutions for their business or their clients. It's the only tool I've found that is as comprehensive.

Great Platform for what we need!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We moved from a completely manual HR/Payroll process to 80% online HR/Payroll process! GoCo has helped us streamline our processes and has made it easier for staff to keep track of their time and to request time off.

Pros

  • Support staff is ready to respond with any questions I have.
  • Communication about new offerings and ways to make things easier is great.
  • Site is very user friendly and easy to find what I'm/staff is looking for.

Cons

  • For the size of our organization and GoCo being our first digital platform, we have not run into many issues.
  • One thing I do wish we could have is the ability for our staff to clock in at one campus and clock out at a different campus (we have three separate campuses). To my knowledge we are not able to do this yet.

Likelihood to Recommend

For a small organization with a limited budget, GoCo is the perfect platform to get started with. For time tracking, time off requests, and as an HRIS, GoCo is perfect.

We utilize GoCo to manage our HR needs. It has an amazing onboarding process that allows us to effectively serve new employees and manage existing staffing.

  • Handling exceptions for staff PTO requests for employees in their 90 day probationary period
  • Ease of managing different hourly work week exceptions

Likelihood to Recommend

We have really enjoyed using GoCo for our HR needs. It has suited us well after we switched from Zenefits. Initially we did not have good support with the rep from One Digital who served as our GoCo broker partner. However, we have a new rep who has been very responsive and helpful when employees have had benefit questions or issues with coverage.
