Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The product has enabled my team to design automation workflows and integrate with various systems seamlessly saving my team extensive development time. Without Flowgear, my team would have spent additional time designing and developing solutions trying to interface with various systems and networks in a secure manner that Flowgear manages natively.

Pros

Workflow version control and deployment through development, UAT and Production environments.
Numerous prebuilt connectors available for quick workflow design and development.
Enables reliable workflow automation with detailed logging aiding in troubleshooting.
Allows for multiple environment workflows

Cons

Enabling the Always On functionality in multiple environments instead of only the production environment.
Easier means of navigating larger or complex workflows.
Increasing the existing timeout functionality or allowing for this to be configured at a user level.

Likelihood to Recommend

Flowgear has been exceptionally well suited to automate workflows allowing my product to interface with other products without the need for my team to develop these integration points. The ability to run workflows against multiple environments, in a secure manner, has facilitated rapid development of key client requirements and aided my team in delivering a quality solution.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use the product to do mapping and transformation of data for a product that we've developed. Flowgear has given us the ability to address our business use case. The various sources to integrate into Flowgear has also allowed us to easily make use of them whether they were by connecting via drop points or just directly to our resources.

Likelihood to Recommend

I'd personally say when choosing any software one needs to do research and find the best fit. We've come to realise that Flowgear was able to address our business use case and assist us in getting our product to market in a very short time span. Never had a scenario where it was not appropriate as the use case was addressed. From a cost perspective the product is very competitive, but one should always look at what’s out there and gives you the best price point as well.
