Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Self-Service for Entra, AD and Oracle. Users can self serve their own passwords. Many of our users has DUO, they use that to authenticate when resetting all the different passwords. Some users has multiple accounts in Oracle they control via the product.

Pros

  • Easily configures for the most users, and easy to use when having Duo. The other users not having Duo are using other means of authentication, Questions, SMS Pins and Emai Pins, depending on who they are, this where the product is at its best. It can acommodate all out users and handle them differently. Also the Wndows Client enables users to access the soluion on screen right in front of their eyes when they have an issue.

Cons

  • Updating config of the Windows Client needs to be pushed out, could be contralled from the server instead

Return on Investment

  • Good ROI after following the Teams recommondations, users are also happy to self-serve.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The FastPass SSPR (Self-Service Password Reset) Windows Client enables the users to reset the password right in front of them. That is the most important feature in my view, along with the authentication options. Implementation was quick and easy - and Service Desk is also saving time now

  • FastPass SSPR (Self-Service Password Reset) for Active Directory, RACF

Cons

  • We tried implementing it our selves, but took some wrong turns. Support was very helpfull
