Headless content management system (CMS) features allow for a natively decoupled front-end and back-end of the CMS. Rather than having a dedicated front-end (like a blog or website), headless CMSs use content APIs to push content out to multiple different front-ends.

Content modeling

A diagram or directory of all the different content pieces and formats contained within the CMS, or that your content team plans on creating. The content models themselves are not tied to a specific front-end output and can be pushed out to multiple types of applications (e.g. web, mobile, voice, etc.).
