We are able to send high-quality files to other companies that are located all over the world. Without Dropbox we would not be able to have such seamless sharing with our distributors. We can also share content amongst ourselves when we may have different devices, such as Apple versus android.

Make it so you don't have to download all content to your machine for your MacBook app. I want to use the cloud feature and not store elements on my laptop to take up space and I can't seem to be able to do that.

We use dropbox to store customer information, designs, contracts, etc. We are able to share documents with people throughout our organization, and limit who can see certain files. Our business could not run without Dropbox. Our installers, service workers, and sales people are able to view and upload documents from the road, which keeps our business running smoothly.

Secure, easy to use, great functions. Dropbox is well suited for our Solar Install and Service company. I think it would work well for all business types where multiple people need access to the same files in different locations. We don't use Dropbox for our 1099 employees because we don't want them to have access to other files within our organization. We have set some up with limitations, but usually it's easier to just have them email the files.

We use mainly for large files sharing (between us and with clients) and use a lot of Dropbox Paper too (to organize ideas, new features and to-do's). Since at my company the main use of data is from databases from cases of our software, these are the main uses. One use that people often use (but not me particularly), is the option to synchronize the data from the Dropbox, so the internal hard drive is not used and the computer keeps with low hard drive use and consequently more fast

Dropbox is well suited for files sharing (I think it might be interesting to sharing just a download link direct instead of sharing a folder/file directly in Dropbox) and for organize ideas. My company has the Dropbox Advanced plan, but these two are my main uses and I cannot talk about the others features. These that I used is well suited for me.

We use Dropbox as an access point for all employees. It helps us share information without using emails. We use it on a daily basis. We have documents there, like letterheads, that any employee with access can easily view and use. We have given limited access to employees.

We have situations where it saves a file as an employee's copy instead of just saving it in the initial document.

We use Dropbox to easily access all client information, project folders, drawings, reports, and in progress models that are presently being worked on for clients. It provides easy remote access across our organization which is especially helpful since we have multiple office locations in the US. We store a variety of files via Dropbox. This product has also proven helpful when we need to recover old versions of a file.

Dropbox is a very well suited product for our company because we are able to store our massive amount of files to one location that is easily accessible from either in the office or remote.
It is less appropriate if files are not sycing in real time especially when our company is on a tight deadline for our client. There are times when I have to wait more than 15 minutes for the files to sync even when I am connected to our VPN.

Dropbox allows us to have access to our files anywhere in the world and know that they are stored securely. We can also allow or restrict access as we need. I think the best attribute is that it functions just like a folder on Windows. My experience with it is that it is far superior to applications such as SharePoint. We store all our records in Dropbox.

Viewing how many licenses you have purchased and are spare for use is not immediately obvious like it is with e.g. Office 365
Occasionally we've had Dropbox cease to function properly in my experience. There's no warning that it isn't working such as a watchdog, or notifications like with anti-virus software that give you an indication of correct operation I've found.

I think for a growing business with a need to store info and have it easily retrievable it is absolutely suitable. The fact that licenses can be bought singularly is great, although I do think they are quite pricey compared to e.g. onedrive which comes as part of office 365 for free.

Dropbox is being used only by the IT department. Dropbox provides solution to sharing files, allowing users to store all of their documents in one easy access location. Dropbox uses a cloud environment, the documents are centrally stored on their servers making it easy to access from virtually anywhere including personal computers and smartphones.

It has an easy interface even for first timers.
Easy for users to sync their files across multiple platforms and access files from wherever you are.
With Dropbox you can edit documents online, making it easy to edit documents and files on the go.
Cons
Sometimes the download, upload, or synchronization with Dropbox can be a bit slow. You got to wait some minutes for files to appear.
If you have a large amount of data, their search engine is not powerful enough.
It lacks in folder security as you are not allowed to lock folders.

There are many scenarios that Dropbox is well suited, the main ones are the collaboration of users, sharing files from wherever you are, whenever you need to have a backup of some files, or even when you deleted any file accidentally, with Dropbox you can recover them. Furthermore, you can store any file you want.
