We acquired Dotloop as a real estate transaction management support . The idea was to be able to write offers, listings, and communicate with all parties within one platform. In this industry there are many moving parts - Realtors, assistants, escrow, title, clients, mortgage, etc. that you need to communicate with so a really good to streamline things is vital. In addition, there is lots of compliance involved so having dynamic workflows and cadences is very important.
Pros
- Customer Service Reps are very nice!
- It’s online so that helps!
- It’s mainly “ready to use” with the exception of watching some tutorials to learn the system.
Cons
- Have more MLS Partnerships
- Not crashing when there are many users
- Management response is non-existent
Return on Investment
- Unable to use the software because specific functionalities did not work with our MLS. So it impacted us in a way that we need to go back to our old software.
- Spent thousands and it did not do what it needed to do. So it was a negative ROI.
- I wrote tons of email, made lots of calls, sent too many texts and my issue wasn’t resolved.
