DocuSign CLM is used primarily for contractual paperwork in our business of 11,000+ team members. It is being used to enable greater efficiencies in turnaround time, having greatly reduced signing completion times from candidates. There is an increased consistency in paperwork for improved customer experience, as well as digital tracking for audit purposes. Sustainability impacts have been significant since we implemented DocuSign in 2015.
Pros
Digital status tracking to keep a clear view of who the outstanding signers are and overall turnaround time.
Modules for self-learning and process improvement.
Agility to customise and edit agreements as required.
Cons
Tag alignment to a templated document is often inprecise.

If a company has the budget to implement DocuSign CLM, I would highly recommend it. It has good support functions from a learning and continuous update viewpoint. It enables efficiencies across many use-case scenarios, great tracking and reporting functions, and offers an improved user experience for both the sending team/s and receiving participants when set up right. The administrative functions are fairly intuitive, and template set up provides a consistent format for ease-of-use.
My company uses DocuSign CLM for the review and signature of controlled documents, specifically those part of the Design History File for Medical Devices, used for submission to Notified Bodies. In a remote world, DocuSign CLM makes it really easy to send out documents for review and signature to various team members. The platform makes it very easy to view who has signed and who to remind about the document, and present deadlines to the signees.
Pros
Assigning signatories.
Reminding users to sign.
Placing specific action items within a document (ie. name, date, location).
Cons
It is not completely clear how to remind just those who have not signed off on the document, not the whole party.

DocuSign CLM is a great tool for working in a remote team. When a document has been reviewed and needs a signature, DocuSign CLM automatically integrates with you contacts in Microsoft, making it simple to add members of your team. Placing signatures in certain locations, throughout the document, is very easy. When dealing with a lot of different team members, DocuSign CLM makes it easy to keep track of due to the color-coding of attributes specific to each reviewer.
For onboarding and pre-onboarding, I utilized it Since I was applying for a job in a different state and couldn't hand over paperwork in person, the procedure went well. For both parties, DocuSign made it easier to move forward. DocuSign's privacy and efficiency may be required by other parts of our company that deal with customers. Given that we deal with private and confidential information on a daily basis
Pros
Hundreds of agreement kinds can be pre-programmed into drop-down menus, and optional clause wording can be added
Contracts were thoroughly examined as part of the workflow process
Cons
A basic understanding of computer science is required
Conversion of currencies

In many sectors and industries it is necessary to maintain a program like this, DocuSign is a good fit, I'm not sure whether it's completely utilized in these sectors, but the financial and healthcare sectors are trailing behind in terms of technology and business procedures, respectively. In many industries, outdated practices are holding them back or creating inefficiencies.
Due to the pandemic situation, we needed to adapt to the new reality and ways of work. That's why we implemented Docusign in the organization in order to be able to move on with our internal requirements that in the past need a signature and the new reality. We use it mainly to sign internal documents.
Pros
To sign internal documents.
To sign external documents if allowed.
Cons
At the moment I'm pleased about all functionalities.
Likelihood to Recommend
As mentioned in the initial question, we're being using it during the pandemic situation when all the employees were working from their homes. We needed to adapt and continue with the business and procedures so we found it very useful to sign internal documents to keep the evidence for internal audit for example. Also can be used for external documents as well (contracts with customers for example).

I use DocuSign CLM when I need to sign official documents - for example, offer letters, contracts, and NDA documents from an employer. Less appropriate : - Either adapt fully or disregard. -Dont use for partial agreements. - Avoid using where government authorities are involved as they don't consider it as legal. - Email aliases do not work with DocuSign.

We actually needed it when Covid happened and forced everyone to work from home - not that I'm complaining by any means, I love working from home. But ... our finance department and our contractors needed a legit form of signature to be able to process invoices and make payments. There are actually a lot of things that require legit signatures when dealing with our organization. This fit our need.
Pros
It's user friendly.
I've honestly never had an issue with the software.
We got a rep available if we ever had any issues which was nice.
Cons
I mean, it's a pretty easy and straightforward software. Use it when I need to sign a document for a vendor or invoice.
Likelihood to Recommend
I only use it if a secure form of signature is required. Otherwise I just use Adobe Sign in the PDF. One has like a date/time stamp that cannot be edited, the other is like here you go it's my signature but not as formal.
