I use Diligent to manage meeting papers and hold governance type information for how our entity works and the resonsibilities the directors have.

It is just so easy to use and very intuitive. I have had two new board members join us and they have been able to access and read papers straight away. This makes it very easy from a Board Secretary point of view.

With directors cross jurisdictions it is excellent for allowing directors access when it suits them. The security is very good and being able to restrict particular documents is very handy. The notes functionality is useful.

It is an easy and quick way to deal with private data. The information can be accessed by our board members both online and offline. TouchID makes sure that only people who are allowed to see it can see it. Diligent Boards handles private data efficiently.

We use it as a content management solution for creating, distributing and collaborating on board meeting materials. We use it as a tool for improving modern day governance. It's also used for arranging meetings with employees. Diligent messenger is used to enable secure messaging and collaborating with parties via note-taking tools. We also use Diligent Boards to sign documents using instant digital signatures.

Scrolling speed can be improved especially while scrolling through large files
Pricing model is a bit expensive as compared to other solutions
Administrators can not complete questionnaires on behalf of the director

Diligent Boards is well suited for board collaboration. It's accessible on mobile. There is responsive application on both iOS and android. Digital board is also accessible on mobile browser. Access management is quite easy while using Diligent Boards.
Administrators of the board room enable granular permissions. At times scrolling speed is low while scrolling through large files. And pricing model is a bit expensive.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The use of the Diligent platform within the organization is primarily to display and pre-report, through a summary of key financial performance results and other relevant strategic topics, to board members, few days previously to quarterly earnings meetings.
It also serves as a repository of official historical documents associated with these meetings that can be consulted by interested parties at any time.

Likelihood to Recommend

The current general use of the platform at Axtel (as a consultation tool for BOD members and as a repository of official historical documents) fully satisfies and covers the needs of its users. Its use and operation is relatively simple, although there are aspects that could be improved, such as having a more intuitive and user-friendly interface.
Likewise, the support and help service so far has been excellent, they always attend us in a timely manner, with a very good attitude helping us to solve our doubts.
