I use DbVisualizer every day for my job as database admin and DevOps expert. No other tool gives me the efficiency I need. I have like 10 years of history in the tool that I can pull out frequently. Also, it works like a charm to create and test new databases, script table to easily generate INSERT or UPDATE scripts, I don't want to miss the tool ever again.

DbVisualizer is good when you need a tool that allows for quick access of frequent DBs and Tables.
We use DbVisualizer on a daily basis for our customers. Since our customers use various DB platforms, DbVis is a saviour since its multiple database support with a single UI and interaction approach is a super time saver.
Without this approach, we would be wasting so much time doing 'context-switching' between client tools.

In today's modern data-enterprise, there are very few tools out there that have the refined approach the DbVis has provided over the years. It is especially useful in the DB Admin arena where db-specific 'DBA Views' are presented (E.g. exasol, postgres, etc). It is also handy for quick DB admin tasks.
I'm a lite user in my organization so I do not usually use extensively. To the extent I use for my requirements, I find it very easy and useful. The only scope I could see is the speed of the query, sometimes it takes a longer time to complete. Otherwise, very happy and satisfied using this product.

I haven't tried using this for more complex queries so unable to comment on them. In case I do in future, will provide feedback by then.
It is used to develop Vertica queries and to check Vertica-specific configuration and log information. Occasionally, I also perform queries to PosgreSQL.

I really like the product-specific build to Vertica. Other than that, it is much the same as DBeaver.I would like to see the Java resource shortage improved.
Currently we are connecting to different environment within different technologies. DBVisualizer is most key tool for us, to analyze all data through the one application. After changing visualization, It seems more user friendly, additional execution Query and programming based on the result through the CMD is also most friendly and time saving solution. Really loved it.

Colleagues of mine use TablePlus. The one thing I'm envious of TablePlus is how is displays its data. It has the typical table layout of a result set that all tools have, but if you select a single line it will display that line's data in another pane but horizontally, which I find easier to navigate and digest when the row is very wide.
It would be nice to not have to wrap PL/SQL statements in DbVisualizer markup. Other tools don't require this.

I've always found DbVisualizer to be very intuitive to use and easy to manage the many DB connections that I have. I use DbVisualizer in all of my work (application development and data science), so I haven't encountered a scenario where it was not useful.
Pull data to analyze trends, test implementation of strategies and do ad hoc analysis. This is done by pulling data from various sources, joining and then summarizing to extract the necessary information. These summaries are mostly exported to Excel for easy manipulation.

Testing strategies are very cumbersome to code in DbVisualizer. Extracting, joining and summarizing data works really well. Quick check in the data to handle customer escalations are very convenient in DbVisualizer.

I've been working for over 8 years and have never seen a tool as good as DBVis that makes it easy to query databases and even analyze sql costs. No matter the brand of database, DBVis can connect and manage. Yes, all the time, but I have some suggestions in my opinion. I hope it connects to nosql that would be great. Its an all in one tool. And I want you development DBVis for support Thai Language.

I use for query and sql analysis for check cost and response time for query which in company have the many transaction. I need to use high performance sql. in order not to affect the main operations of the bank It has a very high number of transactions per second, so DBVis is a very good tool choice.
