Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The customer service and account manager are very helpful and responsive throughout the course. However there are still issues with connector between Netsuite and CUBE after over 8 months from signup. The so-called direct integration hasn't really been working. It requires manual fix every time after I initiate an uploaded. The team hasn't been able to troubleshoot the root cause until now.

Likelihood to Recommend

CUBE probably works better on excel based data without any integration of other software. Based on my experience so far the connector with other software is very buggy.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use for financial reporting. We import our GL data and then use Cube to update a portfolio of reports and slide decks. Specifically we use to get granular data on profitability with the click of refresh button where as before there was multiple data pulls and copy and pastes to get the same level of detail.

Pros

  • It quickly aggregates and slices data in the format we need. Even when that data is too large for excel or other tools.
  • It has flexible hierarchies so that we can make a variety of reports using similar information.
  • The support team is always quick help and resolve issues.
  • Cube uploads data from set connection on a schedule you set allowing you to always up to date information.

Cons

  • It could have better data visualization.
  • It could import large data sets faster.
  • It can more quickly update google sheets.

Likelihood to Recommend

For quickly updating slides and reports with the most recent GL data. Especially useful when there are complex relationships between accounts that need separate hierarchies for different reporting audiences. With the ability to schedule upload jobs you know that your reports that you send out will always have the most recent information from your system.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Cube is used for financial planning, budgeting, performance analysis, and all other monthly / adhoc tasks. Our FP&A team uses cube for all financial analysis and has proven to be incredibly valuable for our team. Cube helps our team become more efficient and organized with quick fetching of data, model version control, and collaboration.

I really enjoyed working with the support team at Cube. The implementation process was very efficient. In two weeks our company was up and running with Cube thanks to the support team. Once starting to use the product most of the features are intuitive and easy to learn. Areas that were pain points the support team worked as hard as they could to provide us with a solution.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Cube helped us accelerate our results analysis by running and updating reports in one click. Easily syncing with our QuickBooks Online accounting system and easily structured to link with our Tableau reporting system. We build reports through Cube and can easily rerun them on a monthly basis and get our new results in.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is perfect for scaling companies that like to run multiple scenarios based on sales and expenses forecasts. It also avoids the cost of jumping to an ERP if you are satisfied with running your accounting to QuickBooks Online. We can easily review updated data and compare actuals to budgets or re-forecasts values.
