Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Conductor for SEO optimization, monitoring our rankings, and competitor analysis.

Their product, team, and community resources are so outstanding. The onboarding calls we had really set us up for success, and their help documentation, blogs, and webinars have continued to allow us to use the tool as efficiently as possible.

Into our second year, they came up with a custom priced plan for our use case since we are a smaller business and the cost was getting to be a little too expensive. They also always seem to be dropping new features without making insane changes to the UI, so when things get added everything is in a similar spot and it is not invasive.

We love the weekly reports we get about our progress, which has been great for presenting progress to our leadership team. Some of the features are not as useful to those who have smaller scope or a small team, but this is very negligible.

We use Conductor with 80 content writers. It helps them get up to date with SEO possibilities and SEO knowledge. These writers are really good writers, but lack specialist knowledge about SEO. We use it for all our pages on our site and both our domains (total more than 30K pages)

It has become a go-to tool for our team to drive visibility and engagement

  • It provides live suggestions as we write or edit content to help us improve our SEO. Like keyword placement, meta tag improvements, etc. This helps us create optimized articles from the beginning.
  • It makes it simple to discover high-value keywords and trending topics in our field to write about, which ensures that the content we're producing aligns with our audience and what they're looking for.
  • It gives us visibility into how the content we create is performing, including keyword rankings and traffic trends, which helps us make improvements to our strategy each month.

Cons

  • I feel like the platform felt pretty overwhelming when I first started out. The certification did help teach me how to use the interface better, but it felt like a lot of information to absorb and forget down the line.
  • I think it would be great to see smoother integration with other tools we use like Google Docs or content management systems like Asana, things like that to streamline workflow.
