takes forever for the board to load - once loaded, working in it is so slow.
all font sizes remain same - smart aligning and is not great at all

Multiple users from the team can work together, Commenting and stickies are useful, Like the integrated icons feature. That it is so simple that every discipline can use it. That there is already a prepared template. The building blocks and templates are great. By using sections it is very easy to give every break-out room their own board to work on. Quick helpdesk.

Pros

direct and fast service support
Easy compatibility with many other external companies
I can easily prepare a presentation and work on questions together between the information.

Cons

The client interface is less flashy and could use some updating.

This is a participatory instrument that enables team meetings and helps teams conduct meetings in a positive way during a pandemic. It also helped me share data with my team faster. And it's much easier to use and cheaper. Real-time changes are shown when someone makes a comment. The best part of working from home as we can collaborate as if we were in the same office

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Conceptboard is a very easy tool to use for collaboration. It is clean visually with simple controls that most people are able to use. You can have multiple workspaces and almost unlimited space to brainstorm and share ideas with team members. Former software has flaws; Conceptboard is simple to navigate and work with.

Likelihood to Recommend

Anytime where ideas are being shared, you need a workspace to put those ideas into action. If you want easy-to-use software that allows for unlimited collaboration with others, Conceptboard is what you are looking for. For smaller teams or those who won't utilize the software very often, this is not necessary.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We utilize Conceptboard for brainstorming sessions and new ways to market out products. The problem currently is that the majority of the organization is remote. We do not have the ability to have in person meetings with big whiteboards or projectors. Zoom meetings help, but the fact that you can collaborate and brainstorm on Conceptboard is a huge help that spawns a ton of innovation and ideas.

Cons

An improved mobile presence would be helpful
Enhanced messaging/communication while in the remote collaboration feature
stronger video quality on call/screen share

Likelihood to Recommend

Conceptboard is well suited for companies that are remote and cannot hold in person meetings. It does a great job to duplicate the functions of a whiteboard being used in a large meeting, or an idea/mood board as well.

If your company is in person or hybrid, it may discourage participation and I don't see as strong of a business case to use it.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

For such a small business, we have a lot to discuss and to figure out in our business strategy. We are facing decisions and strategies to reach our intended market and audience, and the employees of the company (myself included) mainly work on a remote basis. This product allowed for greater participation and collaboration while we each remained in our remote locations.

Difficulty of some staff to adjust to platform
Sometimes too broad of a structure

Likelihood to Recommend

In my experience, this platform worked fairly well for our business. There were some individuals who struggled with the platform, and I could see it being more of a distraction (rather than a benefit or leading to progress) to those belonging to a large team or company. For us, we found that it worked well for certain team meetings where we were being more creative about solutions, but other times a conversation without that need for such vast collaboration, it was not necessary.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Conceptboard is an excellent visual collaboration tool (virtual whiteboard) that allows our remote team to brainstorm together! I specifically have used it for brainstorming and roadmap/touchpoint planning. It's simple but extremely easy to use and navigate.

Working within a remote team in a marketing department – we have created quarterly plans, website touchpoint maps, and content brainstorms in Conceptboard.

Pros

Colorful and engaging collaboration
Easy to use
Creative freedom
Great Miro competitor

Cons

The visual tools are still fairly basic
It can be laggy when too many users are engaging
Limited colors have occasionally caused repeats

Likelihood to Recommend

I have found Conceptboard to be well suited for basic brainstorms and planning. I have led content outlines, quarterly planning, journey mapping, and brainstorming in Conceptboard.

I have found anything that requires complex planning, like UX design mapping, to require a tool that has more complex capabilities like Figma. I also found that Conceptboard didn't work well for things like Gantt Charts.
