AvePoint Confidence Platform's Right for you
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
As an MSP for other small and medium businesses, we utilize AvePoint's Confidence Platform, mainly their SaaS Cloud Backup solution, to back up our client's Microsoft 365 environments. AvePoint Confidence Platform's backup solution provides a single pane of glass for all of our backup customers, giving us insights into failed backups, exceptions, or other issues that may arise. It is a great way to provide a sense of comfort to our clients, knowing that their data can be recovered in a matter of minutes.
Pros
- It provides a point in time backup solution with immediate restore points
- The insights it provides for any backup issues is invaluable, and allows us to remediate the issue immediately
- The setup process is super straight forward, with detailed instructions from start to finish, and once set up, management is a breeze
Cons
- I am not confident in their Exchange migration tool, which in the past, has not been a reliable method for data migrations
- Some of the products in their stack are very complex, and without some hand holding, it can be cumbersome to set up and maintain
- I would like to see live support options, which don't seem to be available at the moment. You are forced to create a ticket, then wait until a support agent reaches out to you.
Return on Investment
- AvePoint Confidence Platform's pricing model has allowed us to resell their products at a much better price point than other competitors. Paying less than $4/seat for backups is awesome.
- Becoming a partner with AvePoint Confidence Platform has also given us IUR licenses, which we use in-house, to back up our internal data, which is an added bonus.
- Becoming a partner with AvePoint Confidence Platform has provided multiple leads, directly from AvePoint Sales, which have turned into opportunities and signed work, bringing in income for our company.
