Currently, ClickUp is being used as a project and task management tool for our ecommerce product based business.
Pros
Very customizable
Ability to build out processes and workflows
Manage multiple projects/tasks at one time
Cons
Customization - sometimes the amount of customization that can be done is overwhelming
Mobile app - changes to the mobile app have been making the usability of the product frustrating
Likelihood to Recommend
The ability to build out processes and workflows for business and projects through the customization is amazing but can get overwhelming fairly quickly. You're able to tweak and adjust as you see fit, however I highly recommend having a plan of attach when implementing.
We use ClickUp for managing marketing and technology initiatives, ranging from simple schedules in Kanban to full-blown Scrum projects within the IT Department, including support desk and some asset management. It come to replace several other platforms, increasing collaboration between team members and even between departments. Its ease of use and customization aided in transforming the way projects are handled in the organization.
Pros
Dashboards and Kanban.
Customisation
Automization
Easy task assignment.
Cons
More intuitive UI.
More Automatization Steps in Each Subscription.
Allow larger Customization of Dashboards and Theme Creation.

Best for small teams doing small development or bug tracking, marketing, and procurement teams. Small desk support just to keep track of requests. The list creation feature can let you excel if they are well created in some other areas, such as asset management or release requests between development teams.
I used to use ClickUp for organizing my writing tasks—to keep track on them. Since I've moved away from writing to project management, I now use ClickUp to plan timelines for my marketing projects.
Pros
Lets you make custom status names
Understandable time planning features
Good and understandable UX/UI
Cons
Some things could be findable more easy (You don't immediately understand what certain buttons/icons are)
More understandable/clear email updates about your tasks
Likelihood to Recommend
ClickUp is amazing for team leaders assigning tasks to their team—the whole process is very seamless if a lot of info is input by someone else. Using it for personal use (like planning/managing projects) is more of a hassle and takes longer.

Great tool for project management and campaign planning. We're using it to make sure all campaigns are launching on time, all the necessary information (content, budget, target audience etc.) are in one place and available to everyone involved in the campaign.
Pros
Project planning (e.g. advertising campaigns)
Good user interface and intuitive features
Love the additional customisation options
Cons
I think some of the possible automation options could be on by default.
It seems like some automation features don't work in some occasions
Likelihood to Recommend
It works really well for different-size teams in our organisation. Due to the possibility of customisation it's easily adjustable for the needs of different project management. I can't think of any scenarios where this definitely wouldn't be suitable.

We use ClickUp to organize our projects, tasks, and subtasks. ClickUp allows our Web, Marketing, Customer Service, and management teams to have long-term organization and documentation of our updates, as well as allowing for requests, reviews, and notices of changes to colleagues. All of our major repository changes are logged and documented within ClickUp.
Pros
ClickUp keeps information about a task all in one place
ClickUp replaces most email for reviewing updates on a task and project management
ClickUp allows us to see what needs done, what is done, and what we are doing at work
Cons
ClickUp has far more functionality than our teams could use profitably and efficiently, and this sometimes bogs down the interface
ClickUp, by default emails notifications of changes to tasks, and this can become overwhelming (and if ClickUp is used to replace email, this is unnecessary noise)
On the successful completion of notifications page, quotes of business leaders are sometimes trite and full of hubris (as quotes of leaders have a tendency to be)
Likelihood to Recommend
ClickUp is appropriate for users who have complex tasks and multiple projects that have shared responsibilities in a team.

We track tasks such as housekeeping, email tracking, etc. Mainly, it's a form of project management. Our projects involve tracking business licenses, quarterly reviews, etc.
Pros
Simple to move tasks from one section to another
Colorful which is good for organization
Cons
Sometimes the interface is bugging. For example, when you delete a task but it still shows up for a while.
Likelihood to Recommend
I think ClickUp is useful for business or personal use. It's a great way to track productivity and keep everyone in the loop at the same time. I think there could be an @ feature in the subtasks as well.

We use ClickUp in the company to see how tasks are evolving and also to control which tasks we are dealing in a daily basis. We also use the software to make dashboards and insights so we can see how our time are being spent and where we are allocating the team.
Pros
Task control
Insights about time well spent
Makes task distribution a simpler job
Makes easy to have visibility about the job done
Cons
Could have more intuitive ways to mark time in tasks
Share same tasks in different spaces
Bigger flexibility in layout
Likelihood to Recommend
I highly recommend its use to improve productivity on a daily bases in a lot of areas. It could be used in professional areas or in personal areas so you could have bigger control over personal tasks, like house tasks or shopping that have to be done. But, if the person is used to doing it in a different way, ClickUp is probably not the best way to go.
I use ClickUp to manage the workflow of the projects of my team and also as an ITSM tool to deal with support. Before ClickUp, people used to monitor their day-to-day separately, some used sheets, some used their cell phones, and others e-mail, so the management team did not have any way to see the workforce allocation in an orderly manner and also not on a constant periodic basis. Also, since my team deals with connecting our systems to those of other customers, we heavily use ClickUp to track all the pipelines and have a history of what worked out and how serving in a way as a knowledgebase for the team and Co.
Pros
Time Tracking
Collaboration on tasks
Notification
Automations
Cons
Reports are sometimes buggy and takes a while to load and update
Desktop version should have all resources of the online
There should be an easier way to explore the files uploaded to the platform, most of the times you end up downloading email signatures, random images, etc., there should be a way to better explore the files and to pre filter before downloading

Scenarios where ClickUp is well-suited include: • working with multiple people on the same task/project; • tracking the time spent and workload across your team; • reporting your teams work to management; • multitasking when dealing with multiple clients that take a while to give a response.
Scenarios where ClickUp is not well-suited include: •reporting to external users (you can add guests as viewers for free, however, the whole deal to log in to see the progress of a task ends up forcing external users away, and they end up asking for an email report instead of proactively going in to check those)
Being a small business, working life can often be chaotic and we needed the tools to organize the many different aspects of the job. Before clickup, we used a number of spreadsheets for this, and every day felt like we were micromanaging each other.
I began using ClickUp to help me manage workflows within our different departments, including job-costing, payroll, sales management, recurring administrative tasks, and IT projects. The largest recurring project is auditing and job-costing, and requires custom fields, automations, deadlines and time projection, and the setup for that list was exceptionally easy, full-functioned, and very much needed.
The organization that ClickUp provided us from the very beginning has been invaluable, and allows all of these tasks to be brought together in a coherent way.
Pros
Automations: Payroll and Job-costing is recurring, and the automations in ClickUp are easy to set up and use.
Project Planning: Scheduling and setting a scope of time, combined with reminders of overdue and upcoming tasks is straightforward.
Templates: If a project uses the same checklist, a checklist can be saved as a template. Combined with automations, setting up new tasks is incredibly easy.
Cons
Integrations: ClickUp already has a number of integrations that are extremely useful to have like GitHub and Slack, and I'm looking forward to more options in the future.
Templates: Templates are extremely easy to use, but difficult to find and edit if they aren't task templates. A more robust way to find, edit and delete checklist templates would be welcome.
Accounting: Subtotals for custom $ fields and a way to set a custom wash-out or summary of a task list would greatly improve our ability to move away from spreadsheets.
Likelihood to Recommend
ClickUp cannot fully replace spreadsheets, if it's being used to help streamline the accounting side of things like job-costing. However, it's invaluable for helping to keep the accounting flow moving and allowing an at-a-glance status of every different aspect of the job. Since it allows sprints and to assign sprint points, this is exceptionally true of a development environment.
Since the nature of my job finds me with my hands in every department, I needed something to let me see at a glance where we were with any given task, and ClickUp has suited this perfectly.

Manager in Finance and Accounting (Retail company, 11-50 employees)
We have multiple sub-departments in our Firearms department, including Raffles, Online Sales, Federal Compliance, Marketing, etc. I use ClickUp to manage each sub-department and the various tasks and timelines. It helps me to stay on top of the different projects and assign them to my team. Allowing me to create folders in each Space helps to segregate the tasks into manageable sizes.
Pros
Folder view keeps projects organized
Templates save significant time setting up new projects
Assigning tasks to team members keeps them accountable for work
Setting due dates keeps us on task
Cons
Gmail integration
Better way to view daily task list
Likelihood to Recommend
We handle multiple projects in our department and I'm able to segregate the work so each individual task is accounted for in its own space. I manage a team of 4 and ClickUp helps me delegate work and I can see who is working on which task, enabling me to distribute work evenly. Entering due dates for each task helps to keep us on track.
