It's incredible for small to medium sized businesses to manage their tasks and their teams
We are an injection moulding company, we use ClickUp to manage all of our parts/tools from beginning to end, we have set up a bespoke process flow and templates that enable all areas of the business to complete, feedback and monitor parts as they go from quoting to production. We have around 100 projects live at any one time, ClickUp helps us to avoid missing deadlines and providing our customers with a great service from start to finish.
Pros
Visual representation of projects.
Keeping all info and history together in one place.
Consistently adding and improving features based on community feedback.
Cons
Further usability of reporting data.
Better visualisation of templates/changes to templates.
Increased options for automation/easier writing of automations/macros.
Plug in to excel to allow more calculations.

Well suited to; improving project flow and helping to formalise process, keeping project data/history together in a coherent form, allowing various different teams/departments to collaborate on projects.
Less appropriate for; monitoring data/KPI's over longer periods, allowing for monitoring/comparing performance in specific areas against previous quarters for example.
We use ClickUp mainly as a project management tool. It helps us keep on task, be aware of deadlines, track activity and progress, and plan for the future! I mainly use it for project planning purposes, using Gantt charts to chart the way forward for my team. But I also use it to keep tabs on my own tasks so I can document what I'm spending my time on.
Pros
Extremely customisable fields, statuses, stages. Really easy to tailor to the business' needs
Intuitive and useful features like dependencies and automatically adjusting tasks that are linked to one another
Cons
The gantt chart view only zooms lengthwise. It makes it a little tedious to see tasks vertically
Likelihood to Recommend
ClickUp is very well suited as a project planner as it was likely designed as one. It's highly customisable in terms of the fields and views, which makes it flexible in different departments. However, it is not so suited as a CRM tool for sales teams when they need to track leads.
I use ClickUp to create automated streamlined workflows to support laboratory operation and to manage development projects across laboratory teams. ClickUp is also used to track scheduled tasks, incident reporting and track team workload. Supporting teams across multiple sites and 24/5 operations.
Pros

Multi organization collaboration
Cons

CFR Part 11 accreditation

ClickUp is amazing for multi user, or team collaboration, especially when working across multiple sites, organisations, and shifts. It doesn't currently have CFR Part11 accreditation so it cannot be used for GMP work
We use ClickUp for organization and process flows. The home base for all things project management. Launching products, creative requests, marketing requests, and overall cross department communication. We use the forms that ClickUp offers to manage the different requests to each team. It has also helped manage the process for launching unique products in the different markets we sell in.
Pros
Manage Multiple Workflows
Forms to intake many requests
Project Management for different teams
Cross team communication
Cons
Notifications Management
More levels of access for guest users

ClickUp is great for large and small teams that have a lot of different threads that they use to coordinate projects, information, and requests. It is a good central location for knowledge management as well as creative content as well. It is a good tool that can help keep teams informed and aligned.
We use ClickUp as a project management tool, as it allows us to keep track of the progress of all projects, including breaking the projects down into smaller tasks, and allows us to upload documents for easy sharing and retrieval. ClickUp also allows us to keep track of our review process where everyone on the team must perform a QA review of our deliverables. By including the name of all individuals on the team, we are able to keep track of who has reviewed recently, who is due up next for a review, and the status of a review.
Pros
Browser notifications whenever a status change or update is made
Intuitively consolidating the status of projects, while making it easy to expand to see detail when needed
Automatically creating project timelines so you can tell if you will have availability for new projects
Cons
The "Board" feature shows the mother task, but does not allow for the ability to easily see sub-tasks for a KanBan type of project management, especially when sub-tasks may be in different stages of development
Left-side menu is not very intuitive, and I find myself searching quite a bit to find our different spaces
Changing statuses can be difficult sometimes, as I find myself accidentally changing a status, or changing to the incorrect status by simply clicking on the status icon
Likelihood to Recommend
ClickUp is great for simple project management and providing management with insight into how a project is tracking, including its current status title, written status updates, and deadlines.
ClickUp is not so great for individual project management. While you can create sub-tasks and sub-sub tasks, these do not show up on the "Board" feature for easy KanBan project management.
We use ClickUp to organize, planning and execute tasks, projects or any activities in the organization. Could be a simple "bug fix" as an entire complex project related to any area like IT, UX/UI, Product Management, Catalog, RRHH activity, etc. Every team defines with which "framework" will work, in our case, we made it with scrum planning, we created task by sprints, we estimate times for each task, and we expect to complete all the tasks to end of week/sprint.
Pros
Custom Dashboards
Time tracking
Visibility in the tasks
Cons
Notification system sometimes sends to me notifications from tasks that are not related with me, I think that if I never interacted in a task and the assignment is removed from me, I should not be notified of changes to it.
Load times in some dashboard or views are too many slow sometimes, I think could work to improve the performance.
Likelihood to Recommend
To establish tasks and times in multidisciplinary projects, it is a very good product. It allows each team to work on their tasks and create the relationship between them to have clarity on the next steps. You know when you can move forward or when something is blocked. Taking into account the estimated times to unblock a task, decisions can be made on how to continue with the project.

I use ClickUp at work to manage complex projects involving development of list templates suited for specific types of projects. The main category of the majority of my projects is "waterfall" although I also run some "agile" projects. ClickUp functionalities support this requirement very well with a lot of flexibility to create custom fields, various views, gantt charts and dashboards. Also, ClickUp allows seamless collaboration amongst the team members where multiple members are working on the project at the same time. While it appears that the tools like ClickUp are more suited for software development projects, I have successfully used it for my Mechanical/Aerospace projects to deliver results systematically.
Pros
Collaboration
Automation
Templates
Custom Fields
User-friendliness
Cons
Gantt Charts
Dashboards
Formula Fields

ClickUp is suited very well for collaborative projects needing live communication between team members. It may be less useful where Gantt Charts are of key use. Unfortunately that has been a pain point for me as I need to use Gantt Charts consistently and I find there are opportunities for major improvements in that area.
ClickUp was a great solution to keep our projects in one place which enabled a stronger collaboration between locations and cross-functional departments. The most powerful piece of ClickUp for our company was the history change record that allows you to refer back to any change within the project. Furthermore, it actually helped our PMO team save time on keeping the projects up to date with the wide range of functionalities to customize your interface to focus on what matters without losing sight of the additional details. The case of use is also vast thanks to the versatility that it has allowed us to not only manage business projects but also programs and department management.
Pros
Listen to the users to continuously improve the application.
The customization is great, and it keeps getting better and better.
Great Community that allows you to learn faster.
Outstanding Customer Service
Cons
The Gantt view is a great resource, but it lacks customization and flexibility to show custom fields on the side view next to the project names.
User Interface is hard to navigate in laptop displays since it does not fit unless you do a zoom out, which makes hard to read.

Our Global Operation team has been developing a communication channel in ClickUp to have visibility of what the other regions around the world are doing, which allows to foresee double work and to leverage the company resources to focus of what matters. The flexibility of working in an isolated space but also being capable of sharing outside the group is a good scenario.
Certainly! Here's a more polished version of your statement:ClickUp is rapidly gaining recognition as a comprehensive project management and task coordination solution. Its unique adaptability and user-friendly interface make it well-suited for both multinational initiatives and smaller, localized projects. A case in point is its application in cross-border simplification projects. In such ventures, individual markets collect ideas through a seamless "email-to-task" feature, enabling a regional board to periodically assess scalability across the entire region. This process is constantly being improved. We are still not able to leverage all ClickUp features because of Corporate restrictions and also learning by doing process.
Pros
Multiple FLEXIBLE views on tasks
AI for sub tasks
Task hierarchy management
Cons
iOS App Missing a lot of features and it needs time to be able on iPad use web version - app is forced
UX on small resolution screens is tricky
I’m missing license for “unlimited enterprise users”. It could later reflects only “active” users etc.

Best case was to manage team with large responsibilities across multiple countries. Easy to enter tasks and details, documents and screenshots. Easy editable gant chart, with easy overview on team capacity. Where it didn’t well - on a new teams which has lack of PM skills. They mainly struggle with entering too many task levels and details, which end up in chaos.
