What is Clever?

Clever’s platform places all the computer applications used in a school in one place, giving students and teachers an instant login. All the school’s software becomes only a click away and app developers, rather than schools, are charged to use the service.

Categories & Use Cases

Clever is the "clever" way for teachers to stay organized.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is used to place all of the different websites that we use in one place. I am able to go there and find all of my most commonly used websites. It makes everything ready and accessible for quick use. I would definitely recommend Clever to any organization wanting to use it.

Pros

  • Everything is in one place.
  • Others can add recommended websites.
  • I don’t have to fumble around to find what I am looking for because all of my most used websites can be placed right there.

Cons

  • It could use more ways to be able to log in besides just Clever and Google.
  • I wish I could show my students what they see on my board and not mine.
  • Could use more ways to add content.

Most Important Features

  • Every website that I use is right where I can easily access them.
  • Team members can add content to our personal school’s page.
  • It’s very handy for my students to be able to log into their testing site.

Return on Investment

  • I don't have to struggle to find the websites that I need.
  • My students know exactly where to go when it’s time to take a test.
  • My teammates can access sites that I add, and vice versa.

Highly recommend Clever - The best, inexpensive single sign-on

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

<div>We use Clever as a single sign-on for students and staff. The advantage of using Clever with students is that we load all programs and apps through Clever, which is the platform for students to sign on one time. They can then move seamlessly from one program or app to another. It works in a very similar way for adults.

</div><div>Staff and students love it because they don't need to have a post-it on their computers or in their drawers (a big no-no, but let's face it - this is how it's done) to document all of their access names and passwords. One email address, one password? They are set to go! Saves time, energy, and frustration. Our Tech Department loves it as it significantly minimizes the "need help because I forgot my password" emails and phone calls.
