Clearbit allows our team to target our ICP on Facebook with paid advertising. Facebook is typically a channel where the majority of our ICP spends time, but the quality of leads is poor. Essentially, we can finally mimic our efforts and campaign strategy on LinkedIn in Facebook, giving us even more touch points and channels to reach our ICP. We are using Salesforce CRM in our company. So here Clearbit plays a major role for us in our day to day sales activities, from providing all the information in a tab to helping keep our database updated. We don't need to open any other page while talking to or making calls to our prospects. Clearbit, with its unique enriched features, shows all the major information about the prospect/company in a column that one need not go anywhere else to find any info.

It's well suited for all of sales while transferring leads in Salesforce. It helps them to get their data structured in such a manner that they don't need to look anywhere else to find more info about the prospect or company and Clearbit does that for them. It really saves a lot of time and energy, which helps them while reaching out to their prospects. But sometimes it happens that the information is not all correct or up to date. Then it seems to be a slight issue for us. But overall it's working fine for us.
Clearbit is being used primarily by our sales team to help clean our Salesforce data. We rely on a lot of cold outreach, and being able to find clean contact information is vital to our productivity. The integrations in Salesforce and Gmail are all pretty useful to us, and are used by a majority of the team.

It's technically used by the sales and marketing department for data enrichment aka updating data regarding accounts and prospects, such as revenue, names, emails, etc. We use it to see active prospects at their jobs like "are they still there" and leverage that to make sure we are hitting the right people at the company.

I think if you have a very large database, Clearbit is well suited to handle large amounts of data and enrich it. Enrichment is strong for marketing teams to pipe contacts through their marketing nurturing programs. We only have a piece of the Clearbit stack. I know they offer other services like prospecting which is more designed for a sales rep getting better information to make selling easier.

Clearbit is like other products that I use and the biggest challenge I have is getting it to work with the programs I want to use. I would love to have all my programs flow through something like Clearbit without a lot of programming and API juggling. Not a Clearbit issue, however, it would be awesome to have a universal IO API that we can all plug into and make life simple.
