Cisco Secure Access Review

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It's part of the proof of concept. We will use it as the network access control in our branches, campus networks and integrated with Catalyst Center.

Pros

  • I would say securing the local area network from unwanted endpoints that would like to access the corporate network. I would say that's the main feature and reason why we will implement that.

Cons

  • Tech service, which is a technical assistance cases. I am not very happy with it with the level of support we're getting when we open attack case. The product is a bit buggy. I think when the developers release the version, it's not well tested, but overall we're okay with the product and we're happy to use it.

Return on Investment

  • I would say very positive. So far the account and the company is very happy with logs and analysis that we have provided since we have implemented the product. They see real facts and real data. What do we have in the network and what shouldn't be there.
