In this capacity SureTax has few rivals and lands at the top of the list to recommend for customers with telco tax needs
Pros
- The product is optimized to handle invoices with large number of line items. We've fast response times even on invoices with hundreds of thousands of line items.
- It is a SaaS solution which saves costs, increases maintainability and is entirely web based
- REST API is efficient, logically laid out and effortless to use
Cons
- International expansion with better support for EU and Brazil regions
- The quirk of having to manually setup next accounting period causes occasional errors during invoice close that could've been easily avoided
- Perhaps consider building a light weight API for customers with simpler taxation needs
Likelihood to Recommend
Telecommunication taxation in US are particularly onerous with few solutions that do it well. In fact if you are looking for a SaaS solution which I think every should be there is only one other competitor that comes to mind. Handling large invoice volume while maintaining fast response times is also important because it means customer can release invoices faster and get paid sooner.
