Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I love Cakemail! It allows me to create beautiful emails by providing me with ready-to-go templates. I love that it incorporates many different email categories for me to choose from, including a fabulous Real Estate section which is crucial for my business. Having ready-to-go templates that you can just click and edit has saved me so much time when sending emails to clients.

  • Has many different useable categories.
  • The templates are practical and make sense.

Cons

  • I would love to see more templates available, even though the selections are already pretty generous.
  • Sometimes I would like more options when it comes to typefaces ect.

  • First of all, you can start with the free plan, which can help aid in your decision if you want to spend the money on the platform.
  • Overall the editing is very user-friendly, even if you don't know much about how to edit.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Cakemail for marketing emails that we send to our customers and prospects. With this software we are able to easily create emails from their provided templates (without needing knowledge of coding) and manage our contacts and lists through each of the campaigns that we run. Cakemail is used for newsletters, new product highlights, and other marketing emails.

  • Some reporting features could be enhanced for ease of use
  • Customer support - sometimes it is difficult to get a hold of them

Pros

  • Managing my contacts and campaigns has given me fantastic results and has been really easy through Cakemail's interface.
  • Customer support is amazing – if you have a problem with anything, they're always available to help.
  • Their flexible design tools are very easy to manage – there's really no learning curve which is nice.

Cons

  • An external package – like PHP support – Cake's component doesn't have that.
  • I'd like to be able to view my user click rate and click frequency at the same time, to be able to compare it – they don't offer that.
  • There's always room for improvement – but what Cakemail does well, it does very, very well.

Return on Investment

  • Cakemail has given us a pretty positive response rate...we're always open to trying new technologies, but Cakemail has shown our subscriber clicks rise quite frequently in the last few campaigns we've sent out.
