Fine for basics, not the most user-friendly tool

Rating: 3 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used Bizzabo for hosting event registrations as well as webinar registrations - mostly for single session webinars and things like happy hours or dinners - as well as all of the email engagement features minus sending event/webinar invites. We run 40-50 webinars a year and about the same amount of events. We need a tool that can build out events and webinars efficiently, share data amongst a large team, and provide data that helps us to make better decisions in the future.

Pros

  • Bizzabo has a good reporting dashboard that made things simple
  • Bizzabo makes it easy to share access within our teams
  • Bizzabo has a relatively clean UI

Cons

  • I feel that customer relations were not particularly great. Slow response times and not very helpful when we did get in contact.
  • Although UI is clean, functionality was a bit clunky.
  • Limitations within asset creation were frustrating and time-consuming when building out events.

Likelihood to Recommend

My biggest frustration with Bizzabo is how time-intensive it is to set up events and add all necessary details. There is not an easy way to my knowledge to use dynamic data to fill in landing pages, registration, emails, etc. and as a result creating events is time-consuming and very monotonous in my experience.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I leveraged Bizzabo as a platform to collect and manage customer submissions to our annual awards program. Bizzabo successfully provided us with 9 separate forms under one master web page which allowed our users to seamlessly submit awards submissions to multiple categories and allowed me to be able to quickly download review and manipulate the data submitted on the back end.

Pros

  • backend reporting
  • up time
  • data manipulation

Cons

  • UX
  • customer support

Likelihood to Recommend

Overall, Bizzabo gets the job done for what I historically needed it to do, which is provide our customers with an easily accessible form to upload responses and media for our awards program. Overall, I'd have no hesitations to recommend a peer to evaluate Bizzabo for their needs since the platform has never let me down, but I will say there are some limitations to their tech stack and flexibility which would prompt me to recommend they compare it to other available options.

Marketing Manager

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it for both small and larger events when we want a personalized landing page and a more in depth registration process. It also allows us to use promo codes for our partners and high value prospects. We like the amount of customization that it provides along with the event emails.

Pros

  • Customization
  • Logic
  • Easy to use

Cons

  • Sometimes it takes awhile to load
  • I'd like more widget options

Likelihood to Recommend

If you're holding a large event, I highly recommend Bizzabo. It's also a great tool to use if you want to scale fast as it doesn't require you to leverage your Operations and/or Development team for landing page creation as it's very user friendly.

Bizzabo: A Middle-of-the-Road Event Management Experience

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We currently use Bizzabo as our event management and registration tool for our annual user conference. It allows us to easily create an event website with pre-loaded templates, helps to manage and process ticket sales and payments, tracks registrations, supports onsite registration, lead capture for event sponsors and enables our mobile app.

Pros

  • Event webpage templates
  • Easy to set up mobile app
  • Onsite check in and name badges
  • Lead capture devices

Cons

  • Surveys and Polls
  • Reporting

Likelihood to Recommend

Bizzabo is well suited for small to medium-sized businesses looking to host a few in-person events per year and do not have an in-house web team or other software to create event websites with registration and payment.

Bizzabo is not well-suited for virtual events as the agenda and timing fine details aren't easily user-friendly.

Scalable and friendly user

Rating: 7 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Marketing hosts several online and hybrid events a year aimed to attract potential clients and talent as well. Most of these events are global or regional ones.

Pros

  • Whitelabeling space and URLs
  • Agenda set up
  • Automated communications

Cons

  • Integrations
  • Add ons such as language providers
  • Analytics

Likelihood to Recommend

We've run events with several hosts and speakers and Bizzabo worked pretty well.
We faced a challenge with a translator provider, so events that need to be hosted in several languages need more set up time than a solo language one.

A Smaller yet feisty workhorse that is worth a second look.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We currently use Bizzabo to Offer a Mobile App, Polling, Agenda Management, Community and chat services, as well as Online Services and Lead Tracking. It allows us to offer a unified platform for events management and registration and connects to our CRM through API

Pros

  • Terrific Implementation Services
  • Intuitive Web Interface for Events Setup and Analytics
  • Fast Mobile App for on-site attendee usage
  • APIs and Documentation

Cons

  • Customer Service isn't knowledgable enough at times
  • Customer Services "rushes", either via automation or manual usage, to Close tickets
  • At times, the platform becomes unresponsive without a status page to refer to for updates
  • The User interface and speed of the Onsite Command App Session Scanning is slow to respond and requires a significant increase in bandwidth on site.

Likelihood to Recommend

Bizzabo is well suited for offering a single-source platform. They are also suited well for spinning up resources that might not have the technical expertise normally needed for Events Management. We highly recommend the Onsite Services Representative be added to your contract for larger Conferences.

Bizzabo Onsite Services can be tricky if you a) haven't done it before or b) lack the onsite technical resources to assist. Bizzabo's Session Scanning speed is significantly slower than competitors so you must have more scanners available.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We wanted a solution to help us register our 1500+ employees, seamlessly capturing all the information we needed ahead of the event and easily communicating everything we had prepared for the event. Bizzabo helped us collect all the information we need, keep our employees informed and engaged and seamless check-in and stream attendees on the day.

Pros

  • Registration
  • Check In
  • Streaming

Cons

  • Networking
  • Virtual Engagement
  • Connecting Hybrid

Likelihood to Recommend

Bizzabo helped us to seamlessly organise a hybrid event that we could stream easily for virtual participants and monitor the attendance for on-sire employees. It was a great tool to easily communicate with both audiences, capture their needs and be able to create an event that was suitable for a diverse audience.Having one tool enabled us to streamline the work for our internal team. We had one person internally who managed registration, communication and AV on the day and this made us work much more efficiently together.

Bizzabo for Events

Rating: 7 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Bizzabo for event registration and management for events large and small.
Some main problems Bizzabo has solved:
- Alleviated the bottle-neck between our web team and events team for creating and updating the landing pages
- Smooth speaker and sponsor portals so repeat speakers and sponsors don't have to submit their assets multiple times
- Easy mobile app to make automatic updates to

Pros

  • Easy to read analytics
  • Notifications and updates about your event and how its progressing
  • Super easy on the attendee end

Cons

  • Editing the landing pages can be a little difficult - lots of back and forth
  • Free vs paid registration features - there are some features where its either one or the other (session registration) that I wish was available for both types
  • Issues with marketo integration

Likelihood to Recommend

Well Suited: Their registration feature is great. Easy to use on both ends and we were able to iFrame the form into our own web page which a lot of other systems don't allow.

Less Appropriate: Booking meetings - we tried to use Bizzabo to book meetings for an event and it just turned into a mess. Pulling reports was like pulling teeth and was a VERY manual process to see who was signing up for what time

Super user - I love Bizzabo!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our events team is able to produce fantastic virtual events that are engaging, and we no longer need a web developer to build event sites for us. We also can look at the attendee engagement and tailor our events and content to what works best for our attendees. We're able to host a virtual, hybrid, and live events all from one platform.

Pros

  • Intuitive Event Site Builder.
  • Event Analytics.
  • Ticketing & Registration.

Cons

  • Customer Support.
  • Ability to create custom reports without supports' assistance.
  • More insight into roadmap and timeline for new features.

Likelihood to Recommend

Bizzabo is well suited for marketing and event teams that don't have a dedicated web developer to build event sites. The platform is intuitive and easy - it allows my entire team to build and edit our events sites. It also allows us to keep our entire event program hosted on one platform (webinars, virtual, hybrid, and live events).
