It addresses every major point that any company, regardless of size, may need to maintain its HR processes on track. BambooHR® allows you to preview as a user in a specific access level. This is VERY helpful for providing instructions to employees or double checking that information is secure.
BambooHR® customer support is unmatched. Any time I have a question, I can quickly get an answer as well as additional resources.
Employees are able to easily find their information without coming to HR for questions. This cuts down on the questions coming into HR departments, big and small.

The benefits management portal has many areas for potential improvement. Reconciliations are difficult and there is confusing data during open enrollment transitions.
I wish there was more functionality within signature requests. It would be helpful for employees to submit forms unprompted (ex. professional development request).

BambooHR® is great for small businesses. I would recommend to anyone looking to get out of spreadsheets and have a more streamlined process in place. However, it becomes more challenging to use the larger the company. It would just depend on the size of the company and their current processes.

BambooHR® is overall a very solid HRIS that provides good people and time management for our organisation. The reporting options are very customisable and allow for the data to be very useful for a number of things and the eNPS data is easy to setup and provides an excellent snapshot of how we are viewed by our employees.
We use BambooHR for our wholistic HR platform in our medium sized business. We utilize BambooHR for payroll, time off management, onboarding, employee reviews, and document storage. Previously, we did not have a good method for reviews and document storage and this all in one small business solution was a good fit for us.

Onboarding process was simple and the entire platform is generally easy to use. It makes it a good option for a smaller business without a true HR professional on staff. Additionally, the HR support that can be added on is another reason this is a good fit for smaller companies.
We use BambooHR for everything, from recruiting to reporting and employee surveys. In my experience, the platform does not address our problems it creates them for us. I am an HR Admin, I use the system daily and for every aspect.

In my experience, reporting NEEDS improvement, you cannot create a simple date range on a custom report, to find everyone employed in our company in 2024, I had to pull SIX different reports and manually paste them together. In my opinion, disgusting.
I think Payroll NEEDS improvement. In my experience, there is never a 'fix' if BambooHR does it. I think it makes it worse. Everything has to be done manually
There needs to be better functions for out of state employees. Hwy do I have to look up a states tax withholding doc, put it in BambooHR and create it to be filled out. You are our payroll vendor. I think they need to be doing that for us

I have been complaining for close to a year now and not one issue has been fixed for us, nor, in my opinion, have they been properly addressed.
