I use Bamboo as a holding place for all things HR as well as time tracking of employees. We previously used multiple programs and this combines it into an easy, friendly program to manage Human Resources.
It also allows me to go paperless for most things and if it does require a hard copy I can save and post to the employees file.

Time off balances - it would be nice to see something at a glance when you pull up an employees time off. You have to select the different categories to see what they have used rather than an overall glance of what they have used versus what they have left.
Time entry reports - it would be nice to see what type of PTO the person used rather than the generic PTO. Show the actual type of PTO they used on this report so that you don't have to pull multiple reports.
Onboarding can be a little fuzzy sometimes getting that all to work properly.

I think overall it is a great program. Just a few tweaks here and there would be nice and maybe I need better training to understand the areas in question.
We use BambooHR® for all personnel records, hiring, tracking and requesting time off. The software is compatible with our payroll provider, but we don't use BambooHR®'s payroll option. With the CORE level package, we don't get any value with the AI "Ask HR" feature, since you can't upload content to make it work correctly.

BambooHR® is great for communicating with candidates during the hiring process. Lots of ways to automate responses and clearly identify the step each candidate is on in the process. If the company had a bonus structure, the Total Rewards would be a great way to highlight this. If we housed our benefits in BambooHR®, then it would complete the information - but we outsource this so it's of no value to us.
We use BambooHR to manage our staff's personal information, documentation, reviews, surveys, and more. It's very useful for sending documents for signature and the setup process is incredibly easy to navigate. As an administrator, I have the ability to set up teams and have each manager's access only allowed to their particular team. The survey function is also useful in requesting employee opinions.

BambooHR is great for company management when a few people are in an administration or HR seat. It makes navigating the ins and out of the company simple and straightforward and the customer service team is always friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to jump in and help. BambooHR might not be appropriate for a company with a significant number of admins
BambooHR has made onboarding and paying staff easier at our organization. Our new employees have shared how the onboarding process is easy to complete, which has increased their excitement about joining our company. Running reports in BambooHR is easy and quick. I appreciate that I can get questions quickly answered by BambooHR's staff via their chat function.

BambooHR is a tremendously great HRIS and Payroll platform for small to mid-sized companies.
I use it a lot for all types of people, HR, and Operations stuff: checking and managing leaves, holidays, salary/pay, departmental/divisional info, affiliations, keeping track of regular/periodical goals, achievements, activities, career progress, etc. Awesome! Excellent! Great features. It made day-to-day office HR/OPS stuff much easier to handle/manage.

Leaves are not utilized in a year; if carried forward to next year, it's proper info synchronization.

Bamboo is used by the whole organization for Human Resource purposes. It stores all employee information and helps keep track of vacations and other time-off-related information. It is also used to manage digital signatures for important documents that need to be signed. It is also being used to keep track of each employee's development.

I really like using it. It's very intuitive and the page looks clean and neat. It also gives me important information on the main page without having to go and look for it. Additionally, the information regarding my time is easy to understand as it keeps a record of all the days off I've taken in the past. I think it is very appropriate for HR purposes and really, I can't think of any scenarios where it wouldn't be appropriate to use it.
We've been using Bamboo HR for years across the organization. As a global, mostly remote organization it has been key in managing all things HR for us. It also allows great flexibility which is key. We use it to track holidays (which we are able to personalize for each person), vacation requests, and all basic data. The reporting functionality is also great.

We are a staff of 110 people - it is an excellent solution for that size of company. Once an organization gets larger than 1000 I don't think it would be able to scale. Also, the pricing is a bit steep for smaller organizations. It works well for all of our basic HR functions.

We use BambooHR to automate onboarding and termination processes which eliminates the administrative burden and paperwork. It is used to keep track of employee personal information and to keep track of PTO hours. The HR team uses BambooHR the most and some supervisors [use it too]. The supervisors use it if their employees request to use PTO and they have to approve it. It helps a lot with keeping track of employee information, and sending signature requests. It really helps automate a lot of our processes.
Pros
Onboarding new employees. It makes the new hire process very simple. You just add in their information about their job and contact. It then automatically sends them a link to register on BambooHR and to fill out the needed documents.
Requesting signatures. If there is a time when an employee moves to a new state, you need to ask them to fill out a new tax form. To make that process easier, we use BambooHR to request that signature and you receive that document quicker rather than trying to email and call them. It saves a lot of time.
It is user friendly. Employees understand how to navigate their account and the electronic signatures are very straightforward.
Cons
Adding reports. I have been asked a couple times to generate customized reports via BambooHR. It is a little confusing to select what kind of information that I would like to be added to the report. We have standard reports that we can easily access but when it comes to creating a new report, it can be made a little easier.
