I use Apollo.io to enrich contact data, create sequences, and execute cold/warm outbound sales. In general, I use Apollo.io for nearly all things outbound. It addresses problems of integration between enrichment, sequencing, email sending, and dialing tools by combining all of those into one. I also occasionally use Apollo.io to find leads or lookalike accounts.

I love that one tool encompass data enrichment, list building, sequencing, dialing, etc., except it doesn't excel at any of these things. Still, I appreciate that I can use one tool instead of. many.

I love it for account and contact planning and research, I have used everything from Outreach to ZoomInfo and SalesLoft, and it is so nice to have it all built into one system. It is a great workflow experience.
Currently, the entire sales team uses the platform, but each person does so individually. I had been using it 100% for lead capturing and list building, mainly to stay organized with new prospects and focus on cold outreach and cold emailing. But this past week, I started trying out the sequences, and I’m really liking it so far. I’m still testing the tool to form a solid opinion, but it seems quite promising. To be honest, I hadn’t used this feature before because I was concerned that automated, high volume emails might go straight to spam, so right now, I’m testing it to see if I can get good results without issues.

I’ve been working in sales for 6 years, and this is by far the best tool I’ve used for prospecting new potential clients or companies. It’s very complete and easy to use (though it can be a bit confusing at first). Before this, I was using a very expensive AI-based tool that never really delivered good results, so this has been a significant improvement. Just one point of attention is that it took quite a while for us to get access when we initially reached out, so that’s something that could be improved.

Sometimes it is less appropriate when updating jobs, because you may be looking for a person in a specific position or company, but the platform does not detect that the person is no longer working there and you have to do it manually, which takes a bit of time.
