We use AnyDesk to support remote access between our business clients and their office computers from home. Additionally, we utilize AnyDesk to offer easy-to-use remote support to our users when they require our technical assistance, and we need to view their screen to identify issues.
Pros
No install software.
Remote printing.
User friendly.
Cons
Lack of automatic reconnect after reboot.
Better user interface for unattended access setup.

It is well-suited when there is no VPN software or remote desktop combination available; it is easy to use AnyDesk to provide remote access for off-site workers. Additionally, it is an excellent tool for remote support for techs, as it is very seamless to guide an inexperienced user through the client download process.

We use AnyDesk to connect to client machines on demand but attended for quick remote support requests. These requests usually involve troubleshooting Windows or application error messages, training, or demonstrating features in new software releases that we provide. Many clients will not grant us unattended permission to view or control their machines, so AnyDesk is a nice fit for that scenario.
Pros
Easy to provide instructions to a client on how to download, install, and use.
Small RAM footprint for those machines that are running low on RAM.
Easy to transfer files.
Cons
We experience more connection timeouts and disconnects with AD than with other screensharing products.
I've occasionally experienced crashes that are only resolved by reinstalling the software.
Load time on initial connection is often slow.

AnyDesk has served us well for one-time screen sharing with clients. Our clients like that this won't leave an app running that will allow us access unattended. It's excellent for simple support and training issues. We have standardized on another product for unattended access, and I'm not sure how well-suited AnyDesk is for that task.

AnyDesk is a well-known software that is widely used in our organization. We use it primarily while working from home to access the office setup via my laptop or vice-versa. I also use it to access my home pc or laptop using my mobile. Other than screen access I also use it to share files between systems, print documents, etc.

We can create an easy-to-remember custom alias for different systems, it makes it easy to access the systems without any ID or long numbers to remember.
It allows auto adapt resolution, it displays the remote system according to the host systems resolution.
Cons
Doesn't work as expected on low-resolution devices.
There are so many issues while accessing android devices using a laptop.
It occasionally shows 'Waiting for Image' when connected with a mobile hotspot.

Remote control of the home PC from everywhere when I am on work or travel and I need to do some tasks regularly. Also, I help friends from around the world and this solution gives me the possibility to do that with no additional undesired registrations. Primarily I use it to connect to my office notebook from home.
Pros
Connecting to any PC system from home
Simple, user-friendly interface
It is fast and easy to use
Cons
Often used by scammers.
Very sensitive mouse control.
Initial connection might be troublesome.

If at this point in the pandemic, remote access to a desktop is necessary for you, then AnyDesk is likely a solid solution. However, as the pandemic winds down, remote access is expected to become less and less critical, and thus, the problem that AnyDesk solves is likely (or perhaps, hopefully) going away. Given the bad reputation for using this program by scammers, many customers do not want to connect through it, so over time, I switched to an alternative to Anydesk - the service Getscreen. me, which connects directly from the browser.

Cons
Sometimes AnyDesk automatically disconnects without informing the users
In weak network, response might be laggy
Large file sharing is not easy

AnyDesk can be used when we want to fix errors or issues in our clients' machines. It is not necessary to have strong computer knowledge in order to use AnyDesk. It is designed in such a way that anyone with a basic computer knowledge can use it. Network issues need to be managed properly. There are many connection issues that can destroy smooth functioning of AnyDesk.

AnyDesk is used by our technical support engineers to address customer problems and concerns when we are not able to use LogMeIn. It is typically a backup for that platform.
Pros
Usability
Consistency
Availability
Cons
Availability to override UAC
Some user controls

In the instance where we are unable to use the first choice (logmein), we resort to using AnyDesk to allow our customers the ability to fix their problems. We are able to remote into their computer and address specific issues that we would be unable to talk them through. It comes especially in handy for those who are not as technically inclined to use LogMeIn or Teamviewer.
