Adobe Illustrator CC is the best program out there for producing high-quality vector artwork. I love using it for logo design and creation. For print pieces it can also be very helpful, although I prefer making the graphics for a printed piece in Adobe Illustrator CC and then placing them in an Indesign document for final output. Adobe Illustrator CC can also create artwork that will be used for digital purposes, although I usually use Photoshop for those kinds of projects.
Adobe Illustrator CC has been my design platform standard since 2009. I've used Adobe illustrator for almost every design asset I've ever delivered including: web and product design assets, print files, brand development, video and animation assets for After Effects; Adobe Illustrator is by far the most complete software product for design and design handoff for other creative teams.
Pros
Outstanding design workflow
Design assets delivery
File management and backups
Easy to use and easy to learn
Continously developing new tools
Personally, I'm in a never ending cycle of finding new tools I didn't know before
Cons
Improve performance on macOS Silicon hardware
Better accessibility tools both in UI and for designing products for persons with disabilities

Adobe Illustrator has been the most useful tool for my designer career development as it has been an essential tool for every design project I've made. The integration of the Creative Cloud Library adds a boost in productivity inside our design team for brand assets management and also for working with external teams either clients, directors, designers and printers, as it is all centralized in a single cloud folder for delivering. It has also made our design products more efficient when handing off AI files to work with each other members of the design team.

We're a design agency so we use Adobe Illustrator CC to create all manner of vector artwork. Typically clients hire us to produce logos, illustrations, infographics, and graphics for print products like package designs, T-shirts, brochures, displays, and, annual reports. Depending on the style we also create our explainer video storyboards using Adobe Illustrator CC.
Pros
Pen tool drawing
Logo design
Typography manipulation
Cons
creating compound shapes with multiple overlapping objects creates unpredictable results
Can crash often. Especially when it's a new release or upgrade
costly
Training AI on subscribers artwork is bad

If you want fine-tuned, delicate control over vector graphics and paths then Adobe Illustrator CC is your best bet. Other software like Affinity Designer and Sketch have limited functionality and probably work better in certain instances, like creating graphics for websites. But Adobe Illustrator is still the best all-around vector manipulation tool available. If you're confident your work won't be stolen to train Adobe's AI then it's the best bet for you.
I use Illustrator in creating brands for my clients. I also like to use it to alter and/or vectors to be used in other software like Figma or Photoshop. It give me a huge freedom to create whatever I want, so I can create unique brands for my clients.
Pros
Vectoring
Exporting files
Connecting with other adobe softwares
A huge amount of tools to create an unique design
Cons
Performance, sometimes illustrator crashes or become slow
Bug correction
Give the same tools for Illustrator desktop and tablet

I think Illustrator is the best vector software on the market today, whenever I need to work with this type of format I choose it. It's pretty versatile too, I can connect and export files to be used in other software, and it exports those files cleanly. Despite having a huge amount of tools inside it, it is not a difficult software to use, you can already do a lot with just the basics, but knowing some advanced techniques you can save a lot of time in projects. Just don't try to do miracles with photos inside it, it wasn't made for that and you will end up frustrated, use Photoshop instead.
Adobe Illustrator CC is so powerful. I've been using it for 30 years - since it came out on the market. I still learn new things every day. Currently, I use it to make mechanicals for packaging and for drawing (producing logos, art, etc.) In the food packaging part of my job, I like the flexibility of layers, being able to link art, create outlines of type, and create art (including graduations and special effects) This application has just gotten better and better over the years. What I also like is the library of tutorials if you don't know how to do something. Adobe Illustrator CC makes it quick and easy to learn. I originally used this program to design ads for yellow page directories - Remember those? (Some will) I can not recommend this more highly.
Pros
Layers
Special Effects
drawing, auto trace
Cons
I don't know
Can't really think of anything
I love this program

I love the multiple artboards option and being able to export the artboards as separate files (pdf or jpeg) This is great when you are showing options. It might be difficult to do a large page count document in Adobe Illustrator CC- but that's why we have InDesign (also a great program)

As a graphic designer, I use Adobe Illustrator CC on a literal daily basis. From logo design to social media post images to website wireframes, it is a required asset to create vector art and multiple artboard layouts for clients. While I also use other programs within the Creative Suite, Adobe Illustrator CC is indispensable and much preferred to other vector-based programs I've used in the past.
Pros
Vector art-based requests (e.g. logos and illustrations)
Multi-page artboard publications
Website wireframes
Cons
Integration with other Creative Suite programs - specifically the tool options and layout
Allow for increased customization of workspace options
Larger artboard area (a several-page wireframe layout is difficult to squeeze into the allowable artboard area)
Likelihood to Recommend
Well suited: Single page, vector-based art. e.g. logo use cases, social media post images, etc. Although InDesign also has the ability to create vector-based art, Adobe Illustrator CC gives the user more control. Less appropriate: multi-page documents (e.g. reports, case studies, etc.), heavy photo-based needs (billboard, wall display) as the linked images bog the file down and make for a very large pdf when needing to share with clients.
I use this software on a daily basis as an architect and it is a very useful tool that helps us a lot of design buildings and makes plans or sections. I use it almost every day to make drawings and layer other images to make my drawings look good for clients.
Pros
Exporting
Making good drawings.
Formatting
Cons
Takes time to learn.
Lags a bit.
Often crashes with big files.
Likelihood to Recommend
Adobe Illustrator is used to help make drawings look good but not make them. It is easy to add color or texture but it is hard to actually make the drawings in it. I would recommend using other software to make the lines for plans and sections and using Adobe Illustrator to make it look good.

Absolutely loved using Adobe Illustrator as a designer at my company within our Marketing Department. It would 100% be my go to software to use and was used the most out of the entire Adobe Creative Suite. I would absolutely recommend to those who want to create vector based graphics or illustrations.
Pros

Print Graphics
Cons

Some great examples that I've used Illustrator for have been:
Printed Graphics (Posters, Business Cards)
Providing graphics for websites (SVG files)
Creating iconography from scratch
Composing visual branding elements
Customizing typography
Scenarios where I've switched to other software have been:
Our company uses Adobe Illustrator to make the most
complicated design projects possible. With the help of this product, we have
been able to reduce the time it takes to accomplish a task by 80%!
Adobe Illustrator is an easy-to-use design tool that makes
it possible to create complex illustrations. The program has a clean interface
with various devices that allow me to create graphics without wasting time
setting up layers quickly.
I use Adobe Illustrator CC to create visualizations and
professional presentations for sales briefs and proposals. I have also used it
to create taglines.
Pros
If you are into graphic design, illustration, or illustration, you need to use Adobe Illustrator CC. It is the best software for vector graphics and professional photographs. I love using it because of the easy-to-use interface and features that I need in my work.
Adobe Illustrator is the best software in the market; it does what it promises. It has various tools and customizable options, making it easy to use. Its interface is sleek and user-friendly, which makes your workflow seamless.
Cons
I've been a user of Illustrator for a few years now and I am quite disappointed with the latest update. It has many glitches, some of which make it unuseable. This needs to be fixed so I can continue using this application.
When buying an app, the first thing to look for is if it's worth your time and money. Adobe Illustrator CC has much room for improvement in this sense, making it hard to use, missing features, and not being able to handle larger files. It offers something unique and valuable while also offering some features that make the user experience more pleasant.

Adobe Illustrator is my go-to software for all my design-related
projects. It is powerful, easy to use, and has many excellent features that I
can't live without. The only thing I would say about their software is that
it's not as versatile as other options out there in the market, which are more
affordable and easier to work with.
Killer vector design abilities.Excellent Touch Type feature.Simplified Free Transform tool. The powerful Puppet Warp feature allows the transformation of select portions of illustrations. Many improvements to existing features. Adobe Illustrator CC is being used for nearly 80% of all design-related work for clients. It's one of the best parts of the Adobe Creative Suite considering it's vector-based and being that we have a variety of clients who need both digital and print related assets, vector-based is the best so that resolution doesn't get lost.AI is well suited for designers and illustrators who need to create scalable artwork or assets and don't want to lose resolution. Clean and beautiful work can be created with AI. However, the learning curve is not the quickest so it is better suited for those who either already have some knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite or for those who are willing to spend the time and money to learn from a course or on their own.AI is well suited for originators and artists who ought to make adaptable craftsmanship work or resources and do not need to lose determination. Clean and excellent work can be made with AI. In any case, the learning bend isn't the fastest so it is way better suited for those who either as of now have a [little] information of the Adobe Creative Suite or for those who are willing to spend the time and cash to memorize from a course or on their claim.
Pros

pros n cons - Vector drawing and scaling - Easy client interface - Tons of interface instruments to work with - Ability to consequence and send out in different designs, as well as bringing in into other Adobe programs - There are so numerous apparatuses that it can be overpowering to memorize how to utilize all viewpoints of the program. - As the program is updated, tragically they inevitably get as well overpowering for more seasoned video cards - constraining you to either overhaul or bargain with the lag. - Very once in a while the program will hang or indeed crash. I've never been able to pinpoint precisely why.
