We use Adobe Acrobat daily across my organization to collaborate with PDF documents. Our biggest use cases center around e-signatures, protecting access and editability of important documents, and collaborating on documents with comments and comparing files. Additionally, I use Adobe Acrobat to edit PDFs - reorganizing pages, combining multiple PDFs into one document, and converting other formats into PDF.
Pros
E-signatures
Document Security
PDF editing
Collaboration
Cons
Integration of other adobe tools into Adobe Acrobat to limit back-and-forth between softwares
Likelihood to Recommend
Adobe Acrobat thrives when trying to make quick adjustments to pdf documents that you did not originally create, or have downloaded from external sources such as emails, websites, etc. It is not only time-efficient, but easy for all users to figure out. However, when I need to create a more detailed document or conduct text-based editing for more design-heavy deliverables, I prefer to do it outside of Acrboat due to limitations within the software.

I use it for basic functions like filling and signing PDFs, merging or cutting documents, and sometimes for redaction or other related tools. It's a great tool for doing shared document review, with the ability for multiple contributors to add comments and highlights to the same shared doc.
Pros
Redaction (text and metadata)
Shared document review and comments
Filling and signing PDFs
Cons
Some lag, slow scrolling sometimes
Can be difficult to navigate around long documents
Zoom function on large page size docs doesn't work that well
Likelihood to Recommend
Really great for doing document redaction to publish online submissions (as it includes metadata redaction so privacy is maintained). Less good for looking at large maps with a large file size - has real trouble scrolling around the page.

Used to edit business documents upon demand when in PDF format. Also use for exporting PDF documents to other formats when required. I use Acrobat on at least a daily basis for this. Acrobat is also used to edit scanned documents when the individual text in the scan needs to be identified.
Pros
Recognising text in scanned documents
Handling images in scanned documents
Exporting to other formats
Cons
When deleting elements of the document it could be easier to reposition other elements.
Compression could be a bit better although it is pretty good.
Likelihood to Recommend
Useful for all businesses where documents may be scanned and then need editing in the future as it handles text recognition very well. Useful for small business where a simple way to read, edit and export PDF documents is required. Useful for companies that find the features of the browser PDF viewer to be too limited.
It is the software that my organisation officially uses to edit a PDF, make any addition, deletion, any amendment to an existing PDF.
Pros
Cloud storage.
Flexible.
Cons
It needs to be accessible for challenged people.
Optical character recognition needs to be improved.
No other gripes.
Likelihood to Recommend
When data needs to be protected and at the same time needs to be circulated, Adobe alone can serve the purpose. It provides security and reliability for the data.
