We constantly use Adobe. Many forms are sent in PDF, so Adobe is our go-to program. We keep many files in PDF format and Adobe is the way we view, sign and add notes to documents in this format. Plus, Adobe works hand in hand with our payroll software. I would highly recommend Adobe to any business.

Adobe is so USER FRIENDLY!! I can not say this enough, when we were looking for options our first priority was for it to be user-friendly and easy to get to on a daily basis! We use this product several times a week for various things, converting or signing documents are our top two! Again, functions are limited unless you upgrade.

We use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC across all departments from design to finance. It's an easy way for non designers without access to Photoshop to make quick customizations & edits.

I can't imagine getting anything done without it! I even use it personally with E signatures. It provides a complete package without having to save files in different formats and add pages back to a master document.

If your company does not use digital documents or have an formal processes than Acrobat Reader DC may not be needed for your business, although I highly recommend implementing this software to add a level of professionalism and regulation that businesses can benefit from.

Given the rise of DocuSign and other cloud services that are quickly getting secure and promise great cloud documentation features, Acrobat is becoming more of a Reader and offline document tool rather than being a top choice for PDFs and other documents. Adobe would benefit from Google Docs style web features and MS Office style native apps.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is the preferred PDF document reader and is used to create, edit, and sign documents as well. This is used to address our Document Control System as our SOPs and controlled documents are all saved as a PDF in the QMS system.

With our document control process/system, our documents are used in both PDF and Word format, so the company need to be able to switch between the two. Also, our organization uses PDFs to sign documents within our organization and outside of our organization. Being able to send an editable document or secure document is nice as well.

Adobe Acrobat DC is used almost every day to take documents, such as MS Word, and convert them to .pdf and send them to clients in a format that is locked and not easily changed by them. They are also easily compressed in size for people who have limitations on their e-mailboxes.

Most appropriate for use in general situations where you want to transmit documents quickly and easily, without allowing them to be edited. If you are looking for you or your recipient to be able to edit documents, you will have to pay extra for that functionality, or else use a different program.
