It would be very appropriate to use some of its functionalities when an employee has finished his work and has reported it correctly. In this case, we proceed to rate and mark your work on the platform and then reward him.

Based on my experience Xoxoday Plum is suited for any organization out there which needs gifts cards sending platform. They have free and pro plans which make it a great platform for both small and large businesses according to their requirements. They have many features which make them a great platform for all businesses.

  • Encourages our staff to make an effort to support our employees by handing out KUDOS for good deeds or for bright ideas that help innovate the company.
  • Helps our leaders make informed decisions on good staff by viewing the distribution of KUDOS to our employees and helps maintain a level of professionalism between the employees.

  • I think Kudos could use some UI enhancements as it can be a bit much info at one time
  • I believe Kudos could probably do a better job guiding administrators in setting up their organization kudos page/system to maximize its appearance and layout

  • There are many brands that are still not available. Some brands are available for a few countries only which I really hope they fix it asap.
  • When customizing the email design, there is a footer with Xoxoday branding, hope they make it optional. It will help a lot.
  • And many brands require users to go to certain pages and enter the code sent to them to get the actual redeem code which I don't think is a good idea.

Alternatives Considered
Generally, Kudos is super user friendly and anyone can use it even with little or no knowledge of computers. The user interface is fun, interesting with lots of emojis that can be customized to a user's emotions at a time. The redeeming of kudos and the various gifts and reward schemes all bring about lots of interest and fascination to working, especially when it's remote working.

  • It creates excitement and positive engagement within the staff creating a lively environment.
  • It's easy to track the highest receivers and at the end of the year, these receivers are sieved and awarded accordingly.
  • Some employees might abuse the system and reward just for the sake of rewarding to get points.
  • Reward redemptions are not instant which creates a little demotivation to shine on the spot all the time.
