Visa Acceptance Solutions (CyberSource) vs. XPAY

For basic users it is probably a good fit. For connecting it's API's are straightforward and most would find it an easy connection to be made. The site overall is just not designed well. When you try to look at transactions a portion of the information is cut of without a scroll bar being added to slide to the fields you would like to see. If you need to see the data on the screen you need to make some adjustments.

Xpay is perfect for a centralized location for all payments coming in. It also handles the security and ease to be incorporated by our IT team into the online portal. A vast array of different payment methods ensure all possible options are covered. You can then track what has been paid and now and send reminders.

• They have built the connections to multiple card providers so that a retailer does not need to build the code for each one separately.
• The decision manager product catches and stops a lot of fraud from getting through and causing a large number or chargebacks.
• They also connect to PayPal making it easy to add them to any website as a payment method.

• fees- competitive, but budget for them
• price transparency- it's hard to know exactly what you're being charged for. We are charged a small % of each incoming payment batch, so AR reconciliation is more difficult
• implementation- significant time and expertise required to get everything up and running smoothly

Payeezy does not provide fraud check facility and they provide JS based integration. Since client wants server side integration due to security and fraud check as well in place of using another third party for fraud. We went ahead with Cybersource

Xpay could do with some more personalization features but is more cost effective. For example ability to add photos or videos to requests. Payment can be taken via ascend but accepts less payment types and is not as secure hence the replacement with Xpay. Xpay is a simplified version and easy to use and scale.
