SessionCam is well suited if a client is using Google Analytics and Google Optimize but wants to understand more qualitatively how users interact on their platforms. Also for an automated way to check user sessions that struggle or abandon.

  • We can watch recorded sessions and have the same experience as the user
  • I can view sessions related to feedback left by the users using another platform
  • It gives a good insight in large scale via heatmaps allowing for immediate recognition of what most users are more interested in
  • The technical team is quickly available to answer any questions
  • All heatmaps and sessions have a good number of filters to explore

Alternatives Considered
We tried out Hotjar before settling on SessionCam. Since the cost was a major factor for us (we were not a big company), we opted for SessionCam after trialing Hotjar. The features were more than adequate, but in the end, it came down to cost. We were happy with our final decision.
