Check Point Harmony SASE vs. Twingate

I'd suggest that Perimeter81 is recommended when you want something that is easy to administrate, with little maintenance, unlike a VPN/secure network that you host and manage internally. We've had incidents when there has been downtime at Perimeter81, which has effectively locked us out of some of our secure services (anything locked down via IP). They have made improvements to their infrastructure and it seems to have improved in recent months, but this is something to keep in mind for critical connections

The product as well as the admin panel is getting richer. Would love port-level access control as well as some more analytics in the admin panel. From what I hear, the team is actively working on it

• Easy access management for cloud resources, better security than VPN or IP allow lists
• 2FA via Google Login or OKTA
• Easy to onboard external team members (contractors, partners, clients, etc)
• Was easily approved by my partner security teams to use alongside their VPN client with no conflicts.
• Zero-trust security is a must-have feature these days!
• You pay for User, not Client or Resources--easy to roll out to all devices used by your users.
• No more hassle of maintaining IP allow lists for WFH/remote teams

• Customer support was lacking before, now seems better.
• Had much difficulty using Chrome as my browser to install the app.
• Increase the throughput speeds at time would be nicer.

• Windows installation had a small glitch, customer support helped quickly resolve the issue

For the end-user, it is essentially an on-off switch integrated with our Identify Protection Solution

Support team understood my challenge and was able to influence product direction to expedite support for my features - A+!

In the beginning, it was a bit rough getting it to work and getting any kind of quality support from customer service. But recently they really improved their service and customer service. I believe they raise 100M in new funding which provides them the resources to make a better product with better tools and a better help desk.

• I think it is just a cost of doing business.
• I don't think the cost is too prohibitive.
• We also use it as an example of what a small cost can provide big protection for your security.

• The ROI has been immediate especially since we are all working remotely during the COVID-19 situation.
